Chapter 5 "Rivals"

Killua was filled with jealousy and anger but he didn't wanna interrupt them, atleast that's what he thought
Until...

"Oh hey gon, I didn't notice you. You're here to read books?"

Killua couldn't just watch someone other than him to be close with gon
So he approached them with a fake smile not looking suspicious

" killua!! A, what a coincidence . I never know you used to come to the library" Gon face lightened up seeing killua
" Yea.. I don't come here that much"
Actually I never visit this place

" So are you still reading or..? " Asked killua cuz he already notice gon was about to leave but he just acted as normal
"Actually we were just about to leave, what bout you"
"Oh.. I see, are you going somewhere after this"
"Yeah, we were planning to go to the cafe , Wanna.. come along ? "
"Sure " Said killua felling excited as Retz was feeling pissed since she just wants to be just him and her , she was soo looking forward for having some alone time with gon , but she had another thing comming
Killua and Retz glared at each other
As two rivals met there eyes together

At the cafe

Killua was sitting besides gon as Retz on a different seat facing them
"Hey gon , your a messy eater aren't you" Said killua smiling while staring at gon's face having some of the cream On the corner of his lips from the cupcake he ordered

"Wh-what" said gon feeling shy and embarrassed
Retz chuckled a bit seeing gon's reaction as she was about to lend him a tissue Killua wipe the cream from gon's lips .
"K-Killua I could've have done it myself you know" gon was now more embarrassed and shy as killua was laughing seeing gon's cute reactions
"Sorry, it's a habit" he lied while pinching gon's cheek playfully

Retz could feel herself burning in jealousy seeing how close killua is with gon
"So gon, are you guys dating or..?"
Asked killua so he could be sure whether they were dating or not

Retz face from anger turned to red like tomato hearing a sudden question from killua
"No...., Were just friends what makes you say that"
Said gon while eating his cupcake
" Nothing just asking"
Well that's good to hear

While gon was eating his cupcake he got some stuck in his food pipe and started coughing
Killua patted his back while Retz hand him a glass of water
Gon drank the water which helped him and he felt relieved

"Thanks" said gon holding the glass in his hand
"Gon!! You should be more gentle when you eat, don't just shove everything right at once " Said Retz being worried
Suddenly her phone started to rang, she checked who it is and picked it

" Sorry it's an important one , be right back"
Retz left the table leaving only gon and killua alone
" So killua, when are you start joining our school?" Asked gon being curious

" Monday, hey are you guys close friends?"
Gon looked at Killua then started thinking" hmmm... I wouldn't say that were close friends tho "

"I see, " Said killua sipping on his tea feeling relieved " hey can I have your number" he said looking at gon with a smile
" Huh.. oh " gon said feeling a bit nervous while dialing his number on killua's phone
"Thanks " said killua while feeling happy inside he could feel his heart skipping with joy
" hmm.. can I save you as Gonnie?"
Gon flushed in red " what's up with that wierd nickname!!" he said turning at Killua and half yelled
" Hahaha, sorry sorry, okay I'll just save as Gon" Said killua laughing
"Killua, I've been meaning to ask you?"
Killua turned to gon tilting his head

"Yea, what?" He asked
"I was just curious to know about what does your family do" said gon turning to killua

"What they do? " Killua still not understanding
"Yea.. like work!?" Said gon excited to hear, killua laugh a bit and ruffled gon's hair " you're curious about their work"
"Mhhhmm..." Said gon nodding
