I hold the door to the clinic open for azaria once she walks in I follow behind her into the waiting room she signs herself in before we sit down
Around thirty minutes later I hear her name called "azaria rose? " she stand up and female doctor looks at us "follow me please" she says softly
We follow her into a room and she turns to me "are you the father?" She asks in a soft tone "yes" I reply and she nods and turns to azaria "your here for an ultrasound correct?" She looks from one of us to the other and we nod in unison
"Alright, azaria can you lay down on the bed for me please? " she ask with a smile and the she turns to me "you can sit in the chair beside the bed I nod and azaria lays down and I sit in the chair beside her the doctor comes over with a tube and a monitor in her hand
"Can you lift up your shirt a bit please" she asks and azaria lifts up he shirt showing her slightly expanded stomach
The doctor opens the tube and squeezes out some gel onto her stomach and azaria slightly flinches "that's cold" she says with a smile while the doct moves the monitor around her stomach
She the points to a screen in the corner of the room showing a black and white picture "what's that" I ask confused
"That's your baby" the doctor says while laughing "it's so tiny" azaria says while smiling at the screen
Once the ultrasound is over the doctor prints out some pictures for us
