Start from the beginning

Seeing the girl angry, the three of them paused whilst she finished her tangent.

"You're going to take me the fuck home," She spoke motioning behind herself with her shoulder before she stood up "so I can check on my Dad, end of fucking story."

Hearing the girl angrily instruct all of them with a harsh glare in her eyes, none of them felt the need to handle this situation right now.

If she didn't become a problem in the future, it wouldn't be hard to deal with a weak human, angered or not.

"Fine, we can take you home." Stefan spoke up still standing partially behind Elena, his hand wrapped around the girl's stomach keeping her and her scent near him.

However seeing his brother so close to the Gilbert girl, visibly tucking his head into Elena's neck to stay calm, Damon couldn't resist tempting his brother.

Although he may have given up on his plan to put his little brother through an eternity of torture, it didn't mean that he still wouldn't irritate and annoy him.

"I don't know Stefan," He suddenly spoke up grabbing Stefan and Elena's attention, before he looked over at the younger vampire with a now blank expression. "can you stand being in a confined space with her?"

"I'll be fine." Stefan spoke through gritted teeth, quickly glaring at his brother as he knew he was only doing this to try and get him to lose control.

"Are you sure," Damon asked again teasingly as he took a step towards Amaryllis, the smell of her blood increasing the closer he got to her. "I mean, I know you can smell her, probably more than everyone else."

Unconsciously listening to his older brother's words, Stefan took a deep breath trying to calm himself down, only to take in lungfuls of Amaryllis's scent.

The skin under his eyes, almost immediately darkened as veins started to sprout out from underneath his flesh, finally becoming affected by the smell of the girl's blood.

"Stop it." Elena spoke up loudly as she turned around in Stefan's hold, pressing her open wrist right underneath his nose.

She didn't know if this would make his control worse or stronger, but she needed everyone to stop focusing their attention on Amaryllis and her smell.

She had been kidnapped too, in fact, this all was really about her, yet everyone's attention was on Amaryllis, who wasn't even a part of any of this originally.

"If the three of you are finished with whatever the fuck that was," Amaryllis spoke in partial disgust at whatever she had just witnessed, even though she wasn't even sure of what that was. "I would love to get my dad now, please, and thank you."

The young half-breed spoke sarcastically begging and thanking them, causing Damon and Elena to roll their eyes whilst Stefan only felt slightly apologetic.

"Yeah we parked a little ways down the street," Stefan spoke seriously, it was about time that the four of them got out of there. "I'll go grab the car."

With that and a small kiss on Elena's cheek, Stefan vamped out of the room heading to retrieve the car from where the two of them had stashed it.

Causing all eyes to move to the only other supernatural being in their room, at least to the knowledge of Damon and Elena, however, Damon only rolled his eyes.

Before he simply walked away from the two of them, going to collect anything else they'd brought to rescue them but hadn't gotten the chance to use.

Leaving Elena and Amaryllis in the room alone together with the dead body of Elijah, which Amaryllis almost immediately turned to not even wanting to acknowledge Elena's presence in the room.

The young hybrid looking over the greyed skin of The Original from her seat on the staircase, she couldn't say that she didn't feel bad for what'd happened to him.

This was visibly shown as she looked up at his body with guilt, however, there was nothing she could do now, yet she felt his being pinned up against the wall was excessive.

Especially as a small pain began to develop in the lower left side of her chest, it coming in sharp and fast as she looking over The Original's body.

A small wince showing on her face as she began to rub the spot, before hesitantly leaving the room, the feeling slowly fading the further she got.

𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐘, Amaryllis threw down the pair of heels in her hands and her small clutch purse as she rushed up the stairs.

The girl was not even aware of the large suit jacket that still was wrapped around her as she ran to check on her Father, after her mom had left he'd never been the same.

As she ran up the stairs to the second to last bedroom on the hall, the girl quickly pushed in the door only to find an empty and made bed.

Which quickly confused her, both it being empty and made, it had been a long time since her father had made his bed, without her she wasn't even sure he knew how.

"Dad," She called out in confusion after running her hand over the fluffed pillow, now she was sure something was up, her dad surely didn't know how to fluff a pillow. "Dad are you home?!"

"Si Pequeña flor, estoy en la cocina!" Amaryllis heard the sound of her Father, Alejandro's voice from downstairs, causing her to furrow her eyebrows.

Before she quickly began to rush right back out of the room and down the stairs, the young half-blood was confused as she didn't understand why he hadn't said anything when she'd run passed the dining room and kitchen.

"Papi?!" She called as she rounded the staircase to head into the kitchen, the girl finally stopped rushing as she slowly headed towards the kitchen doors.

She wasn't quite sure what she was expecting to be on the other side of the door, but it surely wasn't her father cooking at the stove.

"Papi, te sientes bien?" She asked lowly and softly as she walked closer to her dad, on a normal day he'd be on the couch watching a homemade video of when her mom was still here.

Losing her mom was tough on him, nearly drove him insane when she didn't return after she said she would, still to this day they didn't know why she hadn't come back.

They only feared the worst in their hearts, but held out hope that she would one day return to them, or at least send some type of sign she was okay.

But year after year they were left to wonder what'd happened to her, why she never came back, if she ever actually was planning to.
