Mr George is our gateman at school, loves kids who are early birds and treats them well.Unlike the late birds.Trust me you don't want to know how we are handled.
"Cool your temp. Liv"I tease,still snuggling into my bed.
"I swear Natalie if you don't get up I'll push you off the bed"Liv dares me.
"You love me too much to do such"I pout and cover myself.
I heard Liv grunt and within seconds,I am on the edge of my bed, digging my nails into my bed so I don't fall on the tiled floor.Its cold and plus,who wants that to happen on a Monday morning?Not me.
"Livie"I smile"do me a favour and help me"I literally beg.
Literally.
"Then you'll get ready for school right?"she asks.
She always has to be difficult....
I huff"fine"
And with that,she pulls me up to my bed and has a smile on her face.She's been smiling more than usual.Which makes my fourth theory;
4.Jacob must've told her that she looks good when she smiles.
"Giddy up sister"she says pointing towards the bathroom and I relentlessly get up.I turn to look at Liv,who's all dressed up and she looks good.She has on a light denim skirt.and a cute pink off shoulder,with long black socks and a white converse.Her hair is in its way natural way and is held up in a ponytail,with strands of hair falling on the sides.
"Nuisance"I mumble to myself.
"I heard that!!!"she yells.
I open the door and was hit by steam.Guess Liv did a lot in here besides you know... taking a shower.Probably washed her hair.I turn the tap on and smile in delight at how warm the water was.I have already planned to soak in there for thirty minutes, besides I've go like probably two and a half hours till school starts,it's 5:30 for crying out loud.
I go to the cabinet to get the new vanilla scented pack mom bought for me last week.It contains vanilla scented candles,soap bar,bath foam, liquid soap,and a very handy hair treatment pack.I smile as I unpack it and oh,I also got a new white towel.I appreciate my mom no matter what.She's a gynecologist in a private hospital miles away from home.She doesn't spend time with us anymore,and so does dad.I shrug off negative thoughts and jump into the water.After a few scrubs here and there,I get down for a good soak.
"Nat,are you getting married to the toilet or what?"Liv yells from the other side.
And don't start thinking that she has manners because she doesn't want to get splashed by water.It has happened many times trust me.
"I'm almost done!"I yell back.
"Hurry up then"she says and I hear the door close.
I sigh as I suck up all the heat for a minute before walking out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my body and my head.Putting on some lotion,I get my outfit for the day;a baby blue tank top,black jeans,a light black knitted sweater,which I'll tie around my waist,and my white sneakers.I walk to my vanity and grab a brush and hairdryer. I comb my hair although it's already straight.I put on light make up and do some finishing touches before walking out of my room and jogging downstairs.
"Finally"Liv groans.
I roll my eyes and walk up to mom who's in the kitchen.
"Good morning"I kiss her cheek and sit on the island.
"Natie,how did you sleep?"mom chirpes, turning off the coffee machine.
"It was good until someone woke me up"I say giving Liv a deadly glare.
"What?I'm not going to be punished"she defends herself.
"It's okay guys,Nat next time,wake up earlier okay"she says grabbing two mugs and placing them on the counter before going to the bread bin to grab bread.
"Oh is one for me?"I tease.
Mom shook her head and smiles"you always ask this question"she laughs.
"Yeah, pretty nice to smack you once in a while"I laugh also.
"I would hate to spoil your mother and daughter moment,but Mr George is waiting for us"Liv says taking her bag from the stool and flinging it over her shoulder.
"Yeah,sadly no breakfast.So take these granola bars"mom says tossing them to us.
"Thanks"we say in unison.
"We'll talk later!!"I yell above my shoulder as Liv drags me outside.
"Yeah, enjoy your day!!"she says.
"Bye!!"and with that we were on the front porch.
Liv walks to her car and opens the driver's seat."wait,I'll go get Cole"I say turning back.
"Okay,be quick"she yells.
"Cole-"I pause when I see what was happening.
