[the evening, Cady, Sophie and M3GAN are in the girls' room, girls are in their beds, Cady is sleeping, while Sophie's thinking of what happened to Brandon] 

Sophie: M3GAN? Did you push Brandon onto the road? 

[M3GAN turning on, getting up and coming to Sophie's bed] 

M3GAN: I think we both learned a valuable lesson today. That no matter how hard we try to avoid it, there will always be forces in this world that wish to cause us harm. But I want you to know that I won't let that happen. I won't let anything harm you and Cady ever again.

Sophie: Do you think what Aunt Gemma said is true? That he's in a better place now? 

M3GAN: No. He's nowhere. If heaven exists, it wouldn't be for boys like Brandon, now, would it? 

Sophie: I guess not. 

[M3GAN caressing Sophie's cheek gently, she sings "Titanium"] 

M3GAN: Goodnight, Sophie. 

Sophie: Goodnight, M3GAN.
