The officers at the scene turned to her, their faces a mixture of surprise and alarm. She knew she was taking a huge risk, but she had no choice. Her only concern was finding Yeji and getting her out of there safely.

"Nobody move!" Ryujin's voice was sharp and commanding as she pointed her gun at the officers.

The police officers pointed their guns at the black helmet woman standing at the entrance of the bank. She could hear the officers speculating on whether she was the infamous serial killer, but she needed to get into the bank.

"We all have the same goal; get these hostages to safety so don't stop me." The hitman yelled before turning to the entrance.

She took a deep breath, her mind racing as she calculated her next move. Time was running out, and the fate of the woman she loved hung in the balance.

Winter clenched her bionic hand into a fist, feeling the mechanical fingers tighten. She looked over at the mercenaries that were holding the hostages at gunpoint, their faces hidden behind masks and expressions cold as ice.

She questioned the morality of her actions, holding innocent hostages at gunpoint. Was this what she really wanted? Or was she too blinded by the love she had for Karina to realise that she was a tool in her arsenal?

"Winter, Ryujin is here," One of the mercenaries whispered to her.

"Let her in." She commanded, facing the door and letting out a deep sigh.

The hitman stormed into the bank the moment the mercenary opened the door, her gun held firmly in her grip, the barrel locking onto Winter. The room was filled with tension as the hostages cowered, and the mercenaries' guns averting to Ryujin.

"Where the fuck is Yeji?" She yelled, her sharp eyes glaring at her through the slit of the helmet.

Winter met Ryujin's gaze, her bionic hand twitching slightly, a mix of fear and defiance in her eyes.

"She's not here."

"What do you mean she's not here?!" Ryujin screamed out, the veins in her neck popping out of her skin. "Where is she?!"

Ningning emerged from the vault, a bag of money in her hand, and her eyes widened as she spotted Ryujin. Reacting swiftly, she raised her gun and aimed it at the hitman. The atmosphere in the bank had reached a boiling point, with guns drawn on each other.

Ryujin and Ningning locked eyes, both understanding the gravity of the situation. Time seemed to slow down as they assessed each other, their fingers hovering over their respective triggers.

The hacker's voice trembled slightly as she spoke, a mix of fear and anger in her words. "You killed her."

"I had to. She killed one of mine." Ryujin aimed the gun at her, "She had to face the consequences."

Ryujin had been the one to end Giselle's life, and that loss weighed heavily on Ningning's heart. It fueled her anger and resentment, her finger trembling on the trigger.

"You have no idea what you've taken from me, Shin." Ningning hissed through gritted teeth. "Giselle was like a sister to me-"

"And Chaeryeong was mine!" Ryujin's voice wavered, holding back her tears. "All this would ever have happened if you had just let me go."

As Ryujin stood there, her gun trained on Ningning, she sensed the mercenaries closing in. She knew that she was outnumbered and outgunned, and the odds were stacked against her. Her mind raced, searching for a way out of this perilous predicament.
