Not caring that the copycat human was trying to pull away from him, trying to force space between the two of them, he refused to let her go.
This contrasted with Amaryllis, who was just walking a little bit behind him due to her heels and his long stride yet not pulling away from him.
Only trying to keep up with the man, who after noticing purposefully slowed his steps to not have her speed walking to keep up as they entered the man's room of the house.
"Thank you." Amaryllis muttered lightly as she noticed the man's step slightly slowing down, Elijah only staying silent as they stopped in the parlor room.
The three of them stood directly in front of the front door, Rose standing across from them as they waited, it was this room that the sound came from.
However, they didn't have to wait long as they were quickly greeted by a vampire, two maybe more speeding around them at vampire speed.
Only leaving the three of them able to see them blurring around them, causing Elijah to quickly throw Elena over to Rose.
Before gently letting go of Amaryllis's hand, nudging her towards Rose before throwing the other vampire a dark look before glancing back to Amaryllis.
Threatening Rose with his eyes to force her to protect Amaryllis at the chance of repercussions, he needed to keep her safe.
"Rose." Elijah spoke once more in a threatening tone as the four of them watched the vampire flash upstairs, all of their attention turning towards it.
"I don't know who it is." Rose once again clarified, that whoever it was had no connection to her at all, and hopefully, they weren't hostile towards her.
The first chance she got she was going to slip out and hope The Original would have his hands full without whoever it was, the longer she was around him the more likely the chance he would take back his pardon.
Almost immediately as she finished talking a vampiric blur flashed down towards the room they'd left, causing them to look that way.
"Up here." A deep masculine voice spoke from the top of the stairs, causing Elijah to immediately super speed up the stairs to confront whoever it was.
"Down here." Another voice spoke from the bottom of the stairs, causing Elijah to turn around looking down for the voice along with Rose, Elena, and Amaryllis.
Only seconds later a small palm-sized stake shot across the room, lodging itself into Elijah's hand causing the man to let out a loud groan.
He quickly grasped a hold of it, pulling it out of his hand before he looked back down towards the three women.
Only seconds later, the three of them disappear, leaving his line of vision quickly.
𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐀 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀 𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇, Amaryllis tightly grasped the hand with an angered expression on her face, the young hybrid tired of being jostled around.
However, she didn't make her discomfort known as she stood facing, momentarily not being able to see the face of whoever was holding her.
Only able to look up at Rose, who was quickly silenced by the hand of whoever was holding her coming over and covering the vampire's mouth.
The three of them stood in silence, especially as they started to hear The Original in the other room speak.
"Excuse me," Elijah spoke in his usual posh tone, the man looking around without a care in the world. "To whom it may concern, you're making a great mistake if you think that you can beat me."
With that he paused for a moment, letting his threat sink in onto whoever was pulling this, all he wanted was his 'Sweet One' Back.
He yearned to have her near him once again, he could still smell her blood lingering around the room, and he could tell she was still inside the house.
"You can't," He emphasized as he gritted his teeth, his chest breathing starting to grow rough as he grew angrier. "do you hear that?"
As he finished speaking, he grabbed hold of an old wooden coat rack that sat by the large door entrance, the man quickly breaking it in half.
Turing it into a makeshift stake, before he threw away the other side of the room as he quickly grew even more upset by the whole situation.
"I repeat, you cannot beat me," Elijah emphasized as his threat was only met with silence, the man growing more and more impatient. "so I want Amaryllis and the other human, I'm gonna count to three or heads will roll, do we understand each other?"
With that Elijah looked around the foyer again, waiting angrily for some signs of whoever else was in the house, however, he was only met with Elena and Amaryllis.
Both of them appeared at the top of the stairs, however Elena stood behind Amaryllis who was currently tied with white rope and a black piece of tape over her mouth.
The young woman was upset as a deep frown was shown on her eyebrows, however, the tape covered the frown on her face.
"We'll come with you, just please don't hurt my friends," Elena pleaded from behind Amaryllis, the girl trying to keep her heart steady as she spoke. "they just wanted to help us, they didn't even know Amaryllis was apart of anything."
