"I almost forgot"
I hear Vanessa's voice through the lit up phone set up against the head board in front of me while I lay on my stomach in my comfortable bed
I see her smile slightly pulling the covers over her being in the same position as me, I raise my eyebrows waiting for her to continue
"You look beautiful Rose," she says resting her head in hand watching my reaction with a small smile "stop it go to sleep babe" I hide my smile behind my hand not actually wanting her to go
"You're so beautiful, you're such a pretty girl I'm so lucky to have you baby," she keeps praising me for literally everything while I compliment her back a little becoming shy and almost kiss the screen she was displayed on
"Hey...wanna meet at the park?" She says after thinking of the idea, I look at her like she was crazy "it's night..." she gets up out of the screen, I see her room light up and hear shuffling on the side
"I'm ready now babe I'll come pick you up and we'll walk from yours ok? " I shake my head humming as I get up putting on warm clothes. I hear her car starting up before slow music plays with her humming along
I wait patiently in my living room before a knock comes from the door "Hi" she walks in a little to give me a hug as I kiss her before hugging back. She makes sure I have everything before we get to the car
"Where are we going again?" I buckle myself in turning on the heater to recover from the cold air outside.
"Oh nothing. You know just like last time, the park" she seemed a little off, especially with her cheeky smile she tried to hide but I know she has something else planned
I close my eyes rubbing her hand that was placed on my thigh, feeling her warm hand through my pants making me smile falling in to a short sleep
"Rose? Baby?" I rub my eyes looking at Vanessa who had a small smile on her face "Good morning" she says kissing my cheek
I smile back leaning back in my chair about to fall asleep again
My door opens revealing the cold air making me scrunch my face up "noo lets just go back home it's so cold" she shakes her head pulling me out wrapping a fluffy warm blanket around me
I smile standing next to the car as she set up whatever she was doing
I observe her carefully through my half opened eyes seeing her out the back chairs down laying out blankets and pillows. Where did that even come from?
"Come here rose" I yawn going to the back of the car
"Vanessa!" I yell out in a whisper seeing low lit fairy lights around the roof of the car, not to bright but enough just to see
Blankets was later out and on top to use as warmth and pillows around as comfort
I pull her in to a kiss then jumping in placing my shoes on the side in a compartment in the car. She does the same throwing the blankets over us then hugs me as I watch the stars from the sunroof above us
"Thanks Vanessa I really needed this." I pull her close, getting ourselves tangled up with each other.
"Your welcome, I'm sorry this isn't the park" I shake my head pulling her into a kiss smiling
"This is better. Anything with you is always better" she smiles as we continue watching the stars only our breathing being heard
I lean close to her chest hearing her heartbeat
"By the way where are we?" She laughs loud making me hit her shoulder
"We're in my backyard" I get up realising we were in her large backyard where they parked only some cars
I laugh laying back down laying on top of her "even better"
I loved being at her house. At least now we can run inside when mosquitoes starts biting us. I laugh at the thought of chasing each other inside running up to her warm comfy bed
"What are you laughing about huh?" She squeezes my cheeks pulling me in to a kiss "nothing just mosquitoes " she sighs piling away
I gasp trying to pull her back "you should be thinking about me not mosquitoes!"
"No please come back I'm cold now " she looks at me with defeat, coming closer placing a leg in top of mine "ok but we should go inside soon before they attack me for taking you" she jokes closing her eyes snuggling her face in to my neck
I run my fingers through her hair, massaging her scalp
"Alright alright don't fall asleep then,"
"I won't." She yawns, her breathing calming down
"Ok I won't either." I say closing my eyes trying to get as close as I can to her before falling asleep
