HERMIONE FOUND out that she missed a lot when she was visiting Aurora. Harry and Ron followed Draco, his mother, and some others, who went into Borgin and Burkes. Harry was intent on persuading Hermione and Ron that Draco was, in fact, a Deatheater. She nearly scoffed at his accusation.

"Harry, you need to stop," she said, lightly scorning him. Ron looked confused for a moment. "I know where you're going with this."

"What's he on about?" Hermione nearly rolled her eyes since she now had to say the atrocious rumor through her own lips. She also couldn't believe Ron wasn't keeping up with the conversation.

"Harry is convinced that Draco is now a deatheater."

"Blimey! You're not serious, are you?" Ron asked Harry, leaning forward. They could tell Harry was now slightly annoyed from having to continue to persuade them, but nothing persuaded them. Hermione found it odd that Harry had this bizarre obsession with Draco, trying to find anything to prove he was worse than he already was.

"Ron, you and I saw it. They went into Borgin and Burkes–"

"I don't know what we saw, mate," Ron interrupted, "It was too dark to really see anything."

"What were they going into Borgin and Burkes for then? Furniture shopping?" Harry replied sarcastically.

"It's a creepy shop, and he's a creepy bloke." Harry rolled his eyes.

"Look, his father is a death eater. It only makes sense. You and I both saw it. If Hermione were there, she would've seen the same thing."

"But I wasn't there, Harry. This is all speculation, and you can't go around accusing people of being death eaters."

"I'm not accusing anyone. I know what I saw." When Harry realized he wasn't getting anywhere with his friends, he decided to take matters into his own hands to unravel the truth. He suddenly stood up and grabbed his invisibility cloak. "I need some air."

After he left, Hermione stared outside the window momentarily, taking in the bleak scenery. She wondered how Aurora was doing. She deeply missed her, and it pained her to see how fragile and vulnerable she was.
