Everyone spent the day sorting out the rest of the guest bedrooms for Alex, Amelia and Taylor and getting to know each other.
That night the group gathered in the living room. Taylor and Steven started shoving each other out of the way to get to the couch first.
Jeremiah asked jokingly "Do I need to separate you two?"
Taylor scoffed "No."
"Good. 'Cause we're not." Alex said with a laugh.
Taylor scoffed "There's a whole other couch right there."
"Thank you, Belly.
Jeremiah laughed at Steven "Everybody knows that's the bad couch."
Steven sighed as he took a seat "Thank you."
"Okay, but..." Taylor chuckled.
Steven sighed "I can't really, like, vouch for..."
"Steven, you're in my spot." Belly exclaimed.
"Oh, well, you snooze, you lose. You can sit on the floor now." Steven said.
Belly was about to start telling him to move again "Don't..."
"No, just let her have it." Conrad said.
Steven had a betrayed look on his face "What? Are you..."
"Get off the couch." Taylor said pushing him off.
"Just let her have it." Jeremiah laughed.
"Oh, my God. Fine." Steven said betrayed.
Taylor gave Steven a playful shove and actually shoved him off the couch "Oh, my God. Sorry, Steve-o."
"Oh, uh, I ordered pizza. It should be like 30 minutes, but I only ordered one with pineapple, so I call dibs on two slices, all right?" Jeremiah said.
Alex laughed "Jeremiah, I think that's all you." making the rest of the group laugh.
Jeremiah mocked innocence "What?"
Belly asked "Uh, so what do you guys want to watch? I was thinking It Happened One Night."
"Oh. Yeah. Cool. Throwback." Everyone agreed.
Steven said annoyed "You can move more..."
Taylor only laughed in response.
Conrad's phone buzzed signalling a text message he picked it up and glanced at it. Amelia noticed that whatever he had read bothered him as he got up and went after him. Amelia got up too and Steven followed the both of them. They followed Conrad all the way to the beach where he sat down in the sand.
Steven called after him "Conrad! Conrad, what's going on, man?"
Amelia paused noticing his off pattern breathing "Conrad?"
