Sorry I skipped breakfast
I swear I didn't mean to,
but the day has barely begun
and my brain has already started to run.
My mouth was dry and my stomach was hurting,
all the while my thoughts were bursting.
I'm sorry you can't understand me,
I mean, who really does?
One minute I'm up,
the second I'm down.
I looked at you with a smile
when I really wanted to frown.
