Before I could walk another step a hand enclosed around my waist.

"Thank you Osas."  He said softly.

"It's okay kid. I'll go look for Eunice an it was nice what you did for her."

He released his hands from me. " I learnt from you."

"I never remembered telling you to fight."

He chuckled. " Well somethings I learnt from you."

I watched as he strolled out of the garden. If I had my way I'll adopt him. Maybe I will.

I headed to the path that Eunice had followed just to see her crunched on the floor, her legs joined to her body as she cried.

I sat beside her silently waiting for the right time to speak.

I had left the house early. When I had gotten to the house last night, Zina was fast asleep and I had left early to avoid any of her questions.

I headed for the Orphanage and settled the problem although they had said they will give their reply after discussing it. What was there to discuss. I was offering them a building. So I kept in my mind to find a building before the month end.

I felt pity for the kids but I wondered why Dr Marx didn't want me to tell them it was him that informed me.

Anyway, I drove to the Company. I left the driver for Zina. He would take her anywhere she wanted to go.

I have planned to travel to Abuja next week. My parents had called and were inquiring of me and my fiancee although I could hear the snicker in my mom's voice.

I had reached the company and event of last night filled my mind. I needed to apologize to Ola and her whoever he was but I couldn't help but to think of Osas,who that guy was to Osas. But why do I care, she couldn't even keep a secret well not a secret but she can't just keep her mouth shut.

I just have to make sure that the guy doesn't tell Zina anything.

I got greeted by the receptionist. Her face flushed as she saw me. Probably still embarrassed about yesterday. I entered the elevator and headed to the first floor. There was no Michael to meet me at the entrance. As I walked few eyes glanced at me.

I headed to Ola's office to see a man also there. I entered quietly but they didn't notice me.

"This is Karma ola." The man laughed

"What do you want Mr okafor."

"What i want is to see you suffer. You sacked me all because of that foolish woman. I'm sure you did it because she's a woman just like you and now who knows whether she was really the one that released the video. women are so dumb. I wonder why they made you boss."

"I suppose you have nothing better to be doing." I spoke up.

Is this the treatment she gets from this people.

They both glanced at me." Who is this one?"

Ola's face held resentment. I don't blame her.

"I'm the boss of this company."

The man smiled." It seems the boss has finally gotten back to his senses and decided to take over the company."

"I'm not taking over anything. Ola is still the acting manager as far as I'm concerned." I said and Ola narrowed her eyes at me.

"This company is going to-"

"You might as well leave the premises or I might call the security on you."

The man muttered some words as e brushed past me, nudging me slightly on my shoulder.

"Don't expect me to thank you " she said as she stood up.

"Wasn't expecting one either." I sat down opposite her. " We need to talk."

"I really understand all you said yesterday Mr Oyefeso and I'll -"

"I'm sorry for yesterday." I cut her short.

Her eyes widened in shock.  " Your sorry?"

"Yes I am. "

"Is it for what you said in the office or for beating up my boyfriend?"

Her boyfriend ?. What about Osas? Was he having an affair with both people?.

"Both. I shouldn't have treated you both like that."

She sat down." What's with the change of mood."

"Just going through some things. Anyway how is the investigation going ?"

"Gerald and Mr Solape are in the inventory room. Gerald had showed him where the he saw the fraudulent work so they are dealing with it. But for the hacking, we have no clue."

"How about this for the mean time let's forget about the hacking and try meeting with the lady that got her video got released. Maybe we can try to talk her out of suing anybody."

Ola sighed. " Tried that out this morning but she won't hear."

"Maybe I should try."

"Good luck with her then. " She scribbled down something on a paper and handed it to me.

"That her phone number and address."

"Thanks." I put the paper in my suit pocket.

"What about Micheal?" I asked.

"His not around. He had to something urgent to do."

My phone rang. Unknown caller.   I answered.

"Who is this ?" I asked.

"Osas." I couldn't believe my ears. Ola stared at me weirdly.

"Oh, how did you get my number?" I said.

"We need to talk." She said.

"Why"

"If your not that busy you can meet me in my restaurantbefore I could say anything the line cut.

That was rude. I stood up. " Something urgent just came. I'll be leaving now."

She still remained seated. "Okay sir. Thanks for the apology."

I left the office wondering why Osas would call to see me. Was it Zina, had she gone to Osas and caused another trouble.
