Y/n P.O.V.

"Y/n or better known as Tempest is very well known around the gaming and streaming community for her killer aim in games such as Warzone, Apex Legends, and Resident Evil. Now tell us Y/n what started you off in your gaming career?" Nancy asked me while putting the mic into my face. I stood in front of the camera with Xavier next to me. I looked behind Nancy to see hundreds of fans in their seats.

"Well it really just started off as me playing games with friends for fun and somehow I got here," I laughed to mask my nervousness. The interview seemed to be going well so far but I couldn't think about anything other than how dumb I must look right now. I started to fidget with the zipper on my jacket to calm myself down.

"Wow that sounds like a dream come true," She smiled, "And how do you feel about winning the Warzone Dous tournament?" She asked to which the crowd cheered.

"It feels amazing but it wasn't just me, even though Xavier died early he was still a giant help in the end, and I definitely wouldn't be here if it weren't for him," I stated truthfully. Vier gave me a smile. Even though he choked way too often in tough spots, he was still my best friend.

"Well, we're glad it was you two right?" Nancy asked the crowd and everyone shouted once more. Even though I was scared as hell it felt so amazing to be around my fans. I always loved talking to them about games and other interests but I still couldn't help but get nervous being around them in person.

"We'll let you off the hook for now but you'll be back to play some Resident Evil right?" She asked and the crowd shouted louder than ever.

"Yep, I'll be back here around 2 pm to speedrun Resident Evil 4 Remake. Make sure to come back, everyone!" I announced to the crowd.

"Thank you again Y/N for giving us the time to chat," She grinned.

"Yep no problem, I'll see you guys next time," I said to the camera and smiled one more time before exiting the giant room with Xavier.

As we closed the door to the hallway I heard shouts of, "I love you Y/N" and "Your amazing Xavier," Which made us both smile.

"High five dude, you did awesome!" He screamed.

"You did just as good Vier," I smiled while slapping our hands together. "She should have given you more of the spotlight though."

"Nah it's fine I get my time to shine later anyway," He said while giving me a smug look. I remembered that he would be playing in another tournament later today.

"Fair enough then, let's go get some food before we have to go do autographs and pictures," I stated. Last time we went to a convention we didn't get lunch and the two of us ended up almost passing out. These gaming conventions go on forever and if you don't plan things out correctly you're going to get screwed over.

"Yeah, let's go to that sushi vendor we saw earlier!" He exclaimed.

"Alright sounds like a plan to me," I said as we made our way out of the hallway. We put our masks on so we wouldn't get recognized as easily. Don't get us wrong we love our fans but we needed to get food before interacting with anyone for a while. It was already 10 am and we had been here since 5. Plus we only had coffee and a shared donut for breakfast.

On our way to the sushi place, I checked my phone to see that I had texts from friends telling me congrats on the win. I still can't believe I was able to pull it off. That clip alone would make the top of my gaming highlights. Being so caught up in my thoughts I wasn't watching where I was going and ended up slamming right into someone, knocking them over in the process.
