"Wild Dog, watch out!" Cat Noir warned while pushing me out of the way. Stone Heart was trying to grab me, but Cat Noir had saved me, but he was now in the giants grasp. They began carrying him away. I quickly made the choice to go help Alya. I latched my hook onto the car and pulled it hard, but I couldn't lift it by myself. Just then, I saw a red and black yo-yo attach to the car and I turned and saw Ladybug standing beside me. We both gave a hard tug and the car moved off of Alya. She fell to the ground, hurriedly picking herself up.

"You can't stay here, it's too dangerous," Ladybug told her. From the corner of my eye, I saw Cat Noir's staff. I ran over and grabbed it before taking off into the air. I maneuvered my way through the stone giants until I spotted the one holding Cat Noir.

I threw the staff with extreme accuracy. "Cat Noir! Extend it!" I instructed. He caught it and extended it, causing the giants hand to spring open. He fell to the ground and was about to get crushed by the stone being, but Ladybug used her yo-yo to pull him to safety. He was hanging from a lamp post upside down.

"Sorry I was late," She said.

"M'lday, have I ever told you, you turn my world upside down?" He flirted with a wink.

"Oh, you're quite the jokester, aren't you?" She teased. "But your comedic timing needs work," she said as the stone beings charged at us.

"We gotta get outta here!" I warned. I hurriedly grabbed Cat Noir by the tail and jumped onto the rooftop for safety. Cat Noir regained his balance and we raced towards the Eiffel Tower.

"Hey, aren't we gonna take care of 'em?" Cat asked, referring to the giants we had just been fighting.

"If we take care of the source, the rest will follow," I explained. We landed on the plaza facing the tower and saw that Stone Heart was standing on the Eiffel Tower. He was growling as the helicopters surrounded him. The giant stone beings were starting to gather around the base of the tower. We had to move fast. Ladybug, Cat Noir, and I took off towards the tower. Then, without warning, Stone Heart raised his fist and threw Chloe towards the street. Ladybug was able to get to her first and caught her just in time.

"We're clear to attack," Officer Roger stated. The police rose their weapons and aimed at Stone Heart.

"Wait! No, don't attack them," I shouted to them, "you know it'll only make it worse."

"I have a new plan, unlike you. Move aside and let the pros do their thing, you've already failed once," he retorted.

"He's right you know. If I'd captured Stone Heart's akuma the first time around, none of this would have happened. I knew I wasn't the right one for this job," Ladybug said dejectedly.

I placed a hand on her shoulder, causing her to look up at me as I gave her a reassuring smile. "No, he's wrong," I spoke, "because without you she'd no longer be here. And because without us, they won't make it, and we'll prove that to them. Trust me on this, okay?"

She looked at me for a moment before smiling back and replying confidently, "Okay."

Suddenly, Stone Heart began coughing violently, drawing all attention to him. A swarm of butterflies erupted from his mouth and into the air. Stone Heart collapsed onto the platform he had been standing on. Then, the cloud of butterflies took the shape of a face. It was eerie and frightening. But it only got worse when a deep and menacing voice erupted from it. "People of Paris, listen carefully. I am Hawkmoth."

"Hawkmoth?" Ladybug, Cat Noir, and I all questioned.

"Ladybug, Cat Noir, Wild Dog, give me the ladybug earrings, the cat ring, and the wild dog bracelet now," Hawkmoth demanded, "You've done enough damage to these innocent people."
