Your POV
Because the stone giants hadn't moved, we went back to school the following day. I was walking to school, and I decided to text Adrien and ask where he had been yesterday. I kinda forgot about it until now with all that happened. "Hey, I thought you were going to school yesterday?" I sent.
A minute passed before my phone buzzed. "I was, then my father made me come home before I even got there," The message read. The three text bubbles popped up and then another message, "I'm on my way now."
I smiled and hurriedly typed back, "Good. I'll see you there!" I put my phone away and peered into my bag where Nya was. "How's it going in there?" I asked.
"It's actually pretty cozy in here," she replied, causing us both to laugh a bit. It's crazy. Two days ago, I never would have imagined I'd be living a double life or have superpowers. And, although we've only just met, I consider Nya to be more than just my kwami. She's, my friend.
Anyways, I arrived at school, and I walked into the courtyard. I saw a large crowd of students gathered in the center. I stared at them in confusion, wondering what all the fuss was about. Then, I saw the unmistakable face of my best friend. I smiled and ran over, maneuvering my way through the crowd. "Adrien!" I shouted. I saw him turn, trying to spot me. I jumped up slightly and waved my arm. Finally, our eyes met, and we both smiled excitedly.
"Y/N!" He shouted happily. I was able to push through the crowd and engulf him in a tight hug. "It's been forever since I last saw you," he said. I pulled back and examined him, gauging how much he had changed in the last couple years. He was taller than me by a few inches and his face had matured. He still had those same bright green eyes though.
"Oh, so you two know each other?" Chloe asked distastefully.
We both turned to her as she tried her best not to give me a dirty look, but she was failing. "Yep, Y/N and I have been best friends for years," Adrien answered casually.
"Yep, we stayed in touch when I left Paris," I added. I have to admit, I only said anything because Chloe was really getting on my nerves. She's only doing all this to seem better than everyone, even though she has a horrible personality. Was it petty? Yes. But she needs to learn that her rich daddy doesn't get her everything.
"Anyways, let me show you where the classroom is Adrikins!" She said while grabbing his arm and pulling him away and towards our classroom. I trudged behind as Adrien got bombarded by requests for his autograph. Adrien, of course, happily obliged. He really did care about his fans, and I could relate. After all, we wouldn't be where we are without them. We reached the room and Chloe ran inside and pointed at Adriens desk. "This is your seat, Adrikins. I saved it for you, right in front of me," she said poshly.
Adrien patted her shoulder and replied, "Thanks, Chloe." He sat down at his desk and turned to Nino, his desk-mate, and outstretched his hand. "Hi, Adrien," he introduced.
The boy gave him a skeptical look and replied, "Your friends with Chloe then, huh?" Adrien looked sort of confused as to why Nino was judging him for that. Then, he turned toward Chloe and saw her handing her used chewing gum to Sabrina, who then stuck it onto Marinette's seat. I was kinda shocked. She really had the audacity to do that right in front of everyone. "Hey, what's that all about?" Adrien asked.
"The brats that sat here yesterday, need a little attitude adjustment. Of course, I don't mean you Y/N. I'm just commanding a bit of respect, that's all," Chloe explained. I shot a look at Nino that said, 'Is she serious?' He gave me a look back and shrugged.
"Think that's really necessary?" Adrien asked while trying to move the gum off the seat.
Chloe laughed and replied, "You've got a lot to learn about school culture, Adrikins. Watch the master." She sat down in her seat and gave a smug smile. I rolled my eyes at her, and I was about to help Adrien remove the gum when I heard a shout.
