I've been receiving a bunch of messages about people copying this story.

I don't mind if people are inspired by my work but I don't appreciate my plot and dialogue being copied word for word.

I recognize that this is based off of a tv show/book and that there will be some similarities. I understand that you can only change so much to make the story your own while also keeping the plot/dialogue of The Summer I Turned Pretty somewhat the same.

But what I'm seeing is the dialogue and plot of other stories being the exact same as the plot/dialogue that I came up with.

Please don't copy my original dialogue and plot. I don't want to have to report people and get stories that you've spent time on removed.
