Zoe entered her office, in a better mood than the day before. Her desk although still full of paper work was not changing her good mood. The smell of Bradley's latest cologne wasn't choking her and the bright lemon yellow wall wasn't giving her a head ache. In all you could say that Zoe was in a very chirpy and good mood. She sat down, knowing that she had half an hour before her team meeting and that she had no new corporate guests to deal with except that she had to make sure she said bye to the German Priminister before she left later on in the morning. Like every day Zoe riffled through the various papers, containing finance charts, evaluation questionnaires, some CV's which she had yet to sort out for the interviews being held tomorrow, and other sheets that needed her signature or looking over. Like most days she finished her paperwork with exactly 5 minutes to spare till her staff meeting. Knowing she had to file the six CV's for her PA in an order she started to file through who she liked the look on paper and then filed them in her cabinet that could do with a knew filling system, from the looks of her broken draws overflowing with documents from the last 4 years.
After the short staff meeting, she headed up to the sixth floor to assist the departure of her German guest. Zoe loved her job, she had the joys of hearing stories from people from different countries and backgrounds and she never had the same day twice. She had met a fair few celebrities whilst working at the hotel, but did have to remind some that she was not part of the 'whatever you want can be sorted for you' deal. "Thank-you for everything" The German priminister said politely before being escorted out of the hotel and into her car. "Ahh... Zoe just who I was after, we've had a call from Jayne Collins, she requested you call her back" Mr Hope smiled. "Right away" Zoe smiled and walked over to the front desk asking the Receptionist, Nigel for her number.
-Hello, Jayne Collins Speaking
-Hello Jayne, its Zoe Clarke from the Hotel.
-Ah hello darling thanks for calling me back. We have a slight issue at the flat and were wondering if the boys could stay at the hotel for next week or until its finished?
-Ok, I'll have to check the availability of the room... The suite is free up until the day after the boys have left however, I can re-arrange that booking to another vacant suite meaning that we can book you in suite 306 for three weeks so that's till the 7th of February, Is that ok?
-Brilliant, thank-you Zoe. I hope they're not too much trouble and I doubt we will need the full three weeks.
-No problem, I shall book you in for the whole time so if you need the room, you can have it. Would you like me to inform them?
-That would be brilliant, can you also remind them they're needed in the studio at 9 am sharp tomorrow. Be warned, Tom may throw a tantrum.
-Ok I have altered the booking to the 7th of February; we will have a meeting before you leave about payments as I don't want to charge you extra. I shall go and tell them the news now.
-Thank-you Zoe, I'm sure I shall see you soon.
-Bye
Zoe put the phone down and smiled knowing that Max would be staying at the hotel longer. She quickly saved the data for rooms after changing the other guest's room to suite 303. Before making her way to the breakfast hall, where she helped Marie, one of her trusted team, sort through the many customers. "Ah Mr George, would you like to follow me" She said jokingly and escorted Max to the table where Jay, Tom and Siva were sat. "Nathan said he'd be down in a bit" Max told the others. "Well In that case I'll send a member of staff up with his breakfast. The five of you will need to be in the suite at 11am sharp for a meeting. Now for breakfast, Cereals are over there, the full English behind you and if you want anything from the menu" Zoe paused scanning the room for a waitress. "Tracey" she called over "...Tracey here will be your waitress. Remember 11am sharp" She smiled walking off and talking to other hotel guests about various problems or queries they had, leaving her with a long list of things to do during the day.
She walked out the hall and saw Nathan making his way in. "ah Mr Sykes, I was sending someone up to make your breakfast" She smiled politely. "It's Fine, I'll eat with the boys" he smiled somewhat troubled. Zoe picked up on his jittery ways. "Something wrong Nathan" she asked. He took a moment to reply. "Go back upstairs, I'll send someone to make you breakfast... pancakes sound good?" She said before he could start breaking down. "Thank-you Zoe" he smiled weakly and walked towards the lift. Zoe walked into the kitchen calling one of the chefs to go and make Nathan his breakfast and then walked back into the breakfast hall and over to Max's table with the omelette someone had ordered. "One omelette" She smiled. Jay raised his hand and Zoe placed his food in front of him, remembering he was a vegetarian. "Ah Jay, for future reference if you ask at the Breakfast station they'll switch your sausage for a vegetarian option so you don't have to eat egg every morning" She smiled. "Thanks" He smiled mentally questioning how she remembered everything about them without having the paper with it on in-front of her. "And FYI, something seems moderately off with Nathan I would just keep an eye on him maybe" Zoe said to everyone but looking at Max in particular. They all nodded and she walked off, on her many errands.
"How the hell does she remember all this, she must have read them requirements 60 times over" Jay said to his band mates. "One thing I've learnt about Zoe is she's quite the perfectionist" Max chuckled placing half of his sausage in his mouth. (HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHA sorry im immature) "So how long have you known her?" Tom asked. "since I was six. I know everything about her and her likewise, except for the last 4-5 years we lost touch with me being in the band and all" Max said getting quitter. "So what was she like as a kid" Jay asked. "Funny... always the prankster, knows every trick in the book." He laughed remembering his many fails and here many triumphs. "So she knows the bucket on the door" Tom asked. Max nodded. "The Jump out of the closet" Jay asked. "A prank call" Siva asked. "Guys these are way to mainstream she'd spot them out by the simplicity of them. Honestly she knows everyone." Max sighed. "So we could do a really rare one?" Jay asked. "She'd still probably guess but yeah" Max contemplated. Jay and Tom gave each other a knowing look before looking at Siva. "No way" He said. They turned to max "I could get her back from all those years ago." I smirked. All of a sudden his phone buzzed. Caller ID unknown.
-Hello?
-Put me on speaker - It was a female.
-Done
-I know you're planning to prank me max, you know it won't work, sorry to spoil your fun
-How d'you know.
-Bye Max
