I am first to exit and the rest follow. The place is large for a townhouse. I walk up to the door and knock. The door is opened, and I am greeted at the door by a very tall, raven-haired butler with ruby eyes. I flush red. He gives a short bow.
"Hello, madam. May I ask what you need?" he asks with a cool voice.
"Um, I believe these are yours?" I step back. The servants wave. The butler closes his eyes and sighs.
"Thank you for returning them. Would you please come inside?" he smiles.
"Thank you," I say as I slip off my petticoat and hand it to him.
"May I ask your name?"
"Oh, it's uh _______," I stutter.
"The ________?"
"I guess so."
The butler then leads me to a sitting room. Who I assume is the young Earl Phantomhive sits near a window. He turns as I enter the room. Most of his face is covered by an eyepatch. His other eye is a striking blue. I can't stop staring.
"Sebastian? Who is this young lady?" he asks.
"This is Lady ________. The Lady ________," the butler says.
"Oh, hello," he freezes as he looks at me. It causes me to flush red.
"Um, I believe I sent you an invitation for my ball tomorrow night," he says seconds later.
"Yes, I sent an acceptance letter. I guess it's not necessary now," I say.
"Please sit," he says. "Sebastian, please get us some Earl Grey."
The butler, who I assume is Sebastian, strolls out of the room.
"So, what brings you to town?" asks Earl Phantomhive.
"I came dress shopping for your ball tonight, Earl Phantomhive."
"Please, call me Ciel," he says with a smile.
"And call me _______," I reply with a shy smirk.

(Ciel's POV)

She seems very nice for a fellow businessperson. Her (e/c) eyes seem to sparkle and her curled (h/c) hair frames her face beautifully. I can't stop looking at her. We start talking and she starts growing on me. Her sense of humor is amazing. I doubt I've ever laughed this much. We begin to talk like old friends catching up. She's an orphan as well. All alone in a huge home on huge grounds. I am about to give her my invite to come stay at the manor one day when Sebastian interrupts us to bring in tea. I take the tea and set it aside. I notice something strange. Sebastian is constantly sneaking glances at ________.

"Master Ciel, dinner will be ready in ten minutes," he says as he walks out. We talk and sip tea for a while and then head to the dining room. I beckon ______ to sit on my right hand side.
"How would you like to stay the night here? It's getting late," I propose.
"What about my clothes?"
"All can be taken care of," I smile. In matter of fact I told Sebastian an hour ago to send her handmaid to get her things. I had a feeling that she would stay. Then, Mey-Rin comes to fill our glasses. She's shaking. Oh no.

Sebastian! I yell in my head. How could you let this klutz serve us when we have a guest!

Sebastian smiles from the door way. Mey-Rin comes to fill my glass. No problems there. She begins to pour ______'s glass. She over fills it and it splashes all over ______'s dress. Sebastian runs in with a towel and dries off her dress as much as he can. Then, he helps her up.
"I will help you to your room, miss," he says as he takes her hand. He turns for a moment to flash me a smirk. It's as if he's taunting me, holding her in front of my nose saying, "Come get her from me."
What would he want with her? What do I want with her?
