In the middle of four great oak trees, rested a large boulder. Four cats sat on the top of the stone while a big group of cats gathered beneath them. The full moon was shining brightly down on them, giving a soft luminescent glow to the eyes and the pelts of the cats.
"I cannot allow my cats to be talking to WindClan warriors in such a way," spoke a deep voiced tom that sat on the large boulder. His green eyes glaring over at a sleek gray she-cat who was also sat on the rock.
"Then that is your decision to make, Sparrowstar!" The she-cat spoke back, her blue eyes glistened in the light of the moon. "But I care about the happiness of my warriors. If Amberheart is in love with one of your clanmates then I can't stop her from that."
Sparrowstar's eyes narrowed as he growled. "Jaystorm is one of my strongest warriors, Lightstar. I can't allow him to constantly wander off with some WindClan mouse-brain!"
"I understand you're upset, Sparrowstar," spoke a large black tom with ice blue eyes. "But I do not think it's a good idea to insult other clans at a gathering."
"What do you know, Crowstar? You're pushing elder age and they chose you for leader? How stupid," Sparrowstar mumbled and turned his head down to the cats beneath him.
A tan colored she-cat with blue eyes met Sparrowstar's eyes. She shifted her gaze over to a white and gray tabby tom with green eyes. "Jaystorm," she spoke softly.
Jaystorm stared at her for a few moments before he looked back up at Sparrowstar. "Amberheart is expecting soon. What's going to happen with my kits?" He asked in a strong but cold tone.
"We will decide when the kits are born," Sparrowstar responded, turning around, preparing to end the gathering. "Until then I would prefer my warriors to stop themselves from forming bonds with outsiders, just like the warrior code states."
Sparrowstar leaped off the boulder and made his way into the bushes. "ThunderClan, let's go."
Lightstar looked down at Amberheart who pressed her muzzle against Jaystorm's before he had to turn away and leave the meeting area. Lightstar let out a sigh, turning towards Crowstar and the other tom that was sat on the rock. "Take care, Crowstar. I'm glad ShadowClan has a leader like you," she mewed as Crowstar dipped his head in respect. "You too, Duskstar. I know RiverClan has trouble catching prey this time of year. Please let me know if you need help."
"I will Lightstar," Duskstar smiled softly. "Thank you."
Lighstar smiled back before she leaped off the stone. "WindClan, let's return to camp," she announced, leading the way back to her territory.
Letting out a heavy sigh, Lightstar knew there was a lot to come for WindClan in the next few moons.
