Bio #8: U.S.S. North Carolina (BB-55)

Start from the beginning

He convinced Governor to ask the Navy to delay the scrapping of the ship, and then led a campaign to raise the $250,000 necessary to prepare a site to host the vessel, to tow her there, and work to prepare her for visitors.

With the help of the TV station—which broadcast a "Save Our Ship" advertisement campaign—and numerous state newspapers, Craig was able to secure more than $330,000 for the project.

Then, Craig was given an additional of $4,000,000 from the human embodiment of U.S.S. North Carolina. In a special interview on August 19, 1960, it's revealed that, after the war, she pursue a career in acting, following the footsteps of famous American actress, Marilyn Monroe. Because of her acting career, she was given $2,930,000 as her acting career was a success.

She told Craig that she was thankful that she was rescued. Thus she said to pursue her new careers as both an actress and fashion designer.

She was towed from Bayonne, New Jersey, to Wilmington where she had her minor accident with a seafood restaurant because of the tugboats. But after her berth was completed and repairs to the ship effected, she was formally opened on 29 April 1962.

While she and other preserved warships took part in modernizing the Iowa-class battleships, the USS Missouri begged to not "cannibalize" their parts as he prefer purpose-built ones for the entirely Iowa-class.

While continuing her career as a museum ship, U.S.S. North Carolina (BB-55) was officially declared as a National Historic Landmark on November 10, 1982 the application noted that the ship was in almost excellent condition and remained in its wartime configuration.

In 2001 to 2009, U.S.S. North Carolina (BB-55) and U.S.S. Midway (CV-41) took part in a fashion event along with Miss Universe 2008. Both warships are said to be talented designers.

Throughout her career as a famous actress in the 50s and her connections with Marilyn Monroe, she was nicknamed, "North Monroe".

She was then recommissioned when the Battle of RIMPAC 2012 happened where she alongside her comrades fought against an Alien Armada Fleet from a distant planet. She was taken extensive repairs after the battle.

Unfortunately, she sunk on Bikini Atoll on July 7, 2054 along with the rest of the warships that are museum ships. Operation CrossXs was the end for the World War 2 Pacific Naval Fleet that fought against a more advanced alien fleet back in 2012.
