( S1E3 ) "the wonderstudies"

𝑺𝑲𝒀𝑬 is in the bomb shelter. Gina had come up with an idea to give Gabriella, Taylor, and Kelsi a dance break in "Stick to the Status Quo". So currently, the two are impressing Miss Jenn and Carlos, and Nini is nowhere to be found. Skye and Gina finish their part and pose in front of Miss Jenn and Carlos.

"Everybody hold. Nini, where were you? We've been here for an hour." Miss Jenn said

 Everyone's attention averts to Nini.

"I'm so sorry. I lost my phone and basically spent last night living as a hunter-gatherer. Which, by the way, did you know there are things that are only on TV at a certain time? Anyway, I finally picked it up in the lost and found... Wait, did you say an hour?" Nini asked

Miss Jenn nods.

"Gina sent you, Skye, and me a text asking if we could come in early, so she could talk through a new idea. You didn't get it?" Miss Jenn asked

"No, because my phone was missing." Nini said

Shock crosses her face.

"Well, honey. You've gotta keep better track of your stuff. A real triple-threat means singing, acting, and being organized." Miss Jenn explained

Nini nods.

"Got it." Nini replied

The solemnity fades into a smile on Miss Jenn's face.

"Well, if you had been here, you'd know that Gina pitched a whole new dance break for Gabriella, Taylor, and Kelsi, in the middle of Status Quo, and she had Skye and Carlos work it out with her, and it is just dazzling!" Miss Jenn said

Skye, in the dressing room

She just chuckles mischievously.

"What? I didn't do anything! It's just so much fun to see chorus girl fail." Skye defended

"Gina, why don't you hydrate and show Nini the new choreo. Would you?" Miss Jenn instructed

Gina nods.

"Skye, Ricky. I want to run the ski lodge scene." Miss Jenn said

Skye and Ricky nod. Skye grabs her script and moves to the center of the room.

The next day, the cast is in the bomb shelter singing "Stick to the Status Quo".

After rehearsal, Skye sees Ricky walking towards the doors to exit the building.

"Ricky! Wait up!" Skye called

She jogs slightly to catch up with Ricky.

"How are you?" Skye asked

"I'm really not in the mood today, Skye." Ricky said

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Skye asked, confused

"This weird banter we have between us. Or whatever it's called." Ricky said

"Ricky, I'm genuinely confused. What are you talking about? Are you okay?" Skye asked

"No, I'm not. I'm pissed." Ricky said

"About what?" Skye pried

"I sent this embarrassing voicemail to Nini and she shared it with EJ." Ricky revealed

"Wow. What a bitch. I'm sorry about that, Ricky." Skye said

Ricky looks at Skye and she rubs his arm.

"Thanks, Skye." Ricky said

"How about we get some pizza to cheer you up? My treat." Skye offered

Ricky nods slowly.

"Yeah, that sounds fun." Ricky agreed

"Cool, I'll drive. Let me just grab my stuff from my locker and I'll meet you outside." Skye said

"Okay." Ricky said

A few minutes later, Skye walks outside, and sees Ricky and Nini talking. She walks over to the two and laces her arm with Ricky's.

"Ready to go, Ricky?" Skye asked

"Yeah." Ricky said

"Bye, Nini." Skye said

She waves and smirks. She grabs Ricky's hand and pulls him towards her car.
