when I was studying for 10th grade. I was poor at studying. Due to health concerns, I was unable to attend my regular classes. I always received single-digit marks. I never passed a single exam. I am the last mark in a class. My school headmistress used to give punishments in front of boys. I felt too ashamed, and everyone teased me. In my last revision exam, I got a single-digit mark. My headmistress stated that if I fail my public exam, she will place a black mark on my transfer certificates so that I can't continue my studies anywhere. I was afraid. Whenever I opened my book, I literally cried because I didn't know where to start. One day, I opened up about my struggles to my dad. He understood me well. Everyone discouraged me, but he believed in me and joined me at the Slow Learner Tutorial Centre. That tutorial is especially for arrear students. They guide me well. I learned only the basics. if others took 5 minutes for a topic. I took it for more than 20 minutes, but I never gave up. I worked hard and completed my public exam. Every effort has a successful reward. I was ranked seventh in the school. My outcome surprised everyone. The headmistress who blackmailed me gave me 25% construction fees on my higher studies. That's one of my favourite memories. This taught me three important lessons. 1. Trust yourself. (If I lent my ears to others opinions, I couldn't score 7th in school.) The second is, "Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; and knock, and it shall be opened to you." It's a Bible verse. If we truly require anything or clarification, we must not be afraid to ask, like when I opened up about my struggles to my dad. The third rule is to never, ever give up. Every effort bears fruit. If we fail, we will learn from our mistakes.
