One (part 5)

It's been a long few days. Y/n and Barry were both so devastated. Every now and then Barry would go to y/n's house and just look for her through the window to see if she's alright.He rarely saw her but he was just content that she was well. Y/n would always keep wondering whether Barry was alright.

One day,y/n decided to go out with her friend, for shopping. Her friend thought that it'd be better for her to go out and enjoy instead of sitting at home and completing her assignments all day. Y/n couldn't say no to her friend. So they go out.

"Remind me why are we here again?",her friend asks her since she wasn't doing anything at all. She was just standing there like a wall. "Um... for shopping", y/n tells her. "Then what are you doing?",her friend snaps at y/n, annoyingly. Y/n could be really annoying at times. "Okay okay",she replies back to her friend."Hey I'm just going to this park over there, alright?",y/n tells her friend as she wants to get some fresh air. "Are you sure?",her friend asks y/n. "Yes, positive",y/n shows her thumbs up and leaves.

Y/n inhales a deep breath once she was out of the store and in the park. It was almost evening time and there were less people than she had expected, which was good. Much to her dismay,she spots someone she didn't want to see. Barry. They both look at each other. Y/n walks back in the opposite direction. She keeps looking back to check of he's gone. Suddenly she bumps into someone. She looks up to apologise and it was him. Those dark brown hair,warm and dark chocolate colour of his eyes,so captivating that she could be lost in them. "Hey,y/n", Barry breaks the silence between them.

"H-hi,uh...Barry", y/n speaks out.She hasn't spoken to him in so long. "How have you been?",Barry asks her. Y/n looks down and replies,"I'm fine". "H-how are you?",she asks him back. 'God! Why am I so nervous 'she asks to herself. "Can we talk,please?"Barry requests her. She looks up at him surprised. Even after everything she told him,even after she left him alone and broke her promise,he still wants to talk to her. "I don't-",y/n starts but she gets cut off by Barry saying ," Please, just once? I want to make everything right". "I.. okay I guess",y/n replies to him. Barry smiles at her and asks,"Would you mind having a walk?" "Alright",y/n replies. And they start walking around the park.

After some time,y/n speaks up,"Barry I'm sorry for everything". Barry stops walking and leans over the tree, making y/n stop as well. "Can we talk about that day?",Barry asks her. Y/n nods in response. "I don't know what's left to talk about that day but...please go on,"y/n tells him shortly after and looks down, not wanting to look at him. "I've been so devastated these 2 months. You can say I was completely wasted",Barry tells y/n answering her question, about his well being, earlier. Her eyes shoot up to look at him. She sighs and closes her eyes,feeling the tears coming back into her eyes. "I'm sorry",she tells him. Barry continues,"Everything there reminds me of you. Every single thing we did together. It's like I have a hole in my heart that needs to be filled. I feel like a part of me is missing without you y/n". She can't contain the tears anymore so she lets them out hearing this.

"Barry,I-",y/n starts but Barry interrupts her by saying,"Let me complete what I have to say, please". Y/n stays silent. "Who says you're bad luck? You are such a blessing to me. Ever since we met you've been only nice to me. Why would you say that you're bad luck? Because of what people say? Well.. you shouldn't care what others say. I don't care what others say about you. To me you are my favourite person. I could talk to you whenever I want and you always listen to me, everytime. I can be myself around you and you'd never think low of me. Everything about you feels like a dream and I am the dreamer. You have no idea what you've done to me y/n",he completes with a smile on his face and looks at y/n who has tears streaming down her face.

"Oh my god!",y/n releases a small sob and hugs Barry tightly as if he'd disappear if she loosened her grip."You just overthink too much,love",Barry replies hugging her back. "I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry.I don't deserve you Barry",y/n says and pulls back but still holds onto his forearms. Barry puts both his hands on her arms. "I have no idea what to say now. You're just too nice. How are you even real? Even after everything I told you,you still..."y/n trails off. "Because you're really really special to me y/n",he tells her. "I don't know what happened in your past that you're thinking this way but-",y/n stops him mid sentence and says,"You know everything". Barry laughs a little and says,"Will you ever let me complete?" "Sorry",y/n apologizes and nods for him to continue.

"I don't know what happened in your past that you're thinking this way but I promise you whatever happens in the future,we will handle it together. I'll be with you till the end y/n",he continues. "You know you're the first person to ever know about me?",y/n asks him. "Wow,well I'm flattered",he replies back."You don't have to feel that you're alone. Never. Because you're not alone. I'm always with you.",Barry says and drops his forehead to touch hers.

They hear the faint sound of camera clicking. It was Ben, Barry's friend. They back from each other."Oh my God! You have to see this. You guys are so cute",he smiles widely at them showing the picture. They smile admiringly while looking at the picture.

"I'm so lucky to have you in my life",y/n whispers to Barry who smiles in response.
