Out of nowhere, I felt a hand in my popcorn bowl, making me look down, then quickly at her. She smiled, stuffing her face as my mouth hung open.
"We stealing now?"
Tina shrugged a shoulder, grinning. "I didn't feel like making more, and you were taking too long to eat yours." A scoff flew from me as I smiled and shook my head, looking at the TV again.
"Here," I said, offering her the bowl while watching the movie. She pushed it back in my lap, and I glanced at her,
"No no, I'm good, I don't want any more." I gave her a look, asking if she was sure, and she held her hands up. "I'm sure, I'm good, promise."
My lips curved into a smile as my attention drew to the TV again.
Not even a minute later, I felt a hand in my bowl again, and this time I snatched it away while giggling.
"Nuh uh, you said you were sure-"
"Okay but that was then and this is now," she giggled while struggling to reach over me as I'd extended the hand with the bowl in it all the way across the couch, now laying on my stomach. "Hunter pleaseee, I just want a few more that's it-"
"Nope, fix your own," I laughed.
By now, she was on top of me, retreating her attempt to take my popcorn as I'd turned to lay on my back. Her body was hovering close above mine, providing a fond warmth that I'd deeply missed, and her face was now inches from mine. Tina glanced down at me, and our laughter had died down as her eyes peered into mine for a moment.
Her smile then faded as she looked away and began easing off. "I'm sorry," she whispered.
Before she could get to her knees, I pulled her back onto me by the waist,
"I'm not," I said softly as her eyes met mine again, but she shook her head.
"Hunter, no, that was- I shouldn't have-"
"Tina..." my hand went to her cheek, and slid down to her neck. "I'm telling you that it's okay... And I'm asking you, to kiss me...please..."
Slowly nearing her face closer to mine, she glanced at my lips before hesitantly gazing into my eyes again.
"Are you sure?" I nodded, sliding my other hand up her t-shirt and bit my lip as her body slightly shuddered under my touch. "Because w-we can stop, right now..."
My legs then parted, allowing her body to fall between them as I crossed them over her behind. And for the first time in forever, I'd finally seen her become nervous as she hung her head to hide it. The curve of my index finger immediately went under her chin to lift it, and my eyes searched hers,
"The last thing I wanna do is stop, T... Do you?"
"No..." I smiled slowly at the quickness of her answer, and leaned in while smirking a little,
"So do I need to ask again?"
"No-" she instantly captured my lips, making me nearly forget how to breathe the second our lips touched.

I'm supposed to be leaving right about now for this thing, and I was just about ready. I'd gotten dressed and did my makeup just in time to do my hair without being late. Hearing a knock at my door, I paused touching up my hair in my bathroom mirror to run downstairs to get it.
Sade had a key, so I knew it wasn't her, and Tina was supposed to meet me at the restaurant, so I could only assume that it was Lauren.
When opening the door, a surprised expression spread across my face and I smiled.
