Best
The best is all I am,
For if I am not I am nothing.
The top is all I will take
Nothing but the best.
Never second place, always first.
I come above all,
Always on top.
I am competitive, a perfectionist.
I must succeed,
They would rather take
A's than B's.
If i'm not the best-
I could be rejected from my career
The job i covet to have could be taken,
Ripped from my fingers.
All they take is first.
I must be the best in everything,
Classes and competitions.
I must be a star.
Who would I make proud in second?
How would that satisfy them? Let alone me?
