WOOOO MI BAMBINO AZUL IS BACKKKK
TW: Burning people :)

~Leo~
Screams.

That's the first thing he heard when he came to.

Screams.

Happy ones? He can't say. Sad ones? He also can't say. He doesn't know. They were just...screams.

Leo grunted and fluttered his eyes open, the world was on fire. Everything was burning. People were screaming.

Wait, no, scratch that. That was just Y/N screaming and crying while hugging Leo tightly.

Wait, Y/N?! Oh shit, it worked! He's alive! He really is alive!

Leo held his love close, letting the dam break and his tears spill, more arms wrapped around him in a hug. Leo looked up and saw his family. He saw the bright red of Raphael's bandanna, the bubbly aura of Mikey, now filled with such happiness that it slightly overwhelmed Leo. He could feel Donnie's actual arms around him, not the cold metal of his mechanical arms.

And most of all, Leo could feel the small, trembling body of his lover in his lap, clinging onto him as if Leo just came back from the dead. (Well, technically he did but that's besides the point). He sniffled and hugged the mutant close, tears threatening to fall from his eyes.

He let the dam break, flood even. All the tears spilled and he started to sob. He couldn't tell if he was happy or not.

"F-fuck you. Never do-do that again." Donnie stammered, hugging Leo tighter.
"L-language Don." Raph replied in a shaky voice, Leo couldn't help but laugh. Laugh and cry, how crazy is that? To experience two different emotions at once, or was he sadly laughing? Is that a thing? To sadly laugh? Oh who was he kidding, he's being delusional. Stop it Leo, just enjoy the moment.

While it lasts.

Who said that? Hello?

...

Leo was suddenly bombarded with a loudly sobbing, orange turtle.
"Don't ever leave me again! Do you understand?!" Mikey exclaimed, jumping into Leo's lap, which caused Y/N to fall over. Luckily, Raph caught the mutant with his tail and safely put them on their feet. Leo smiled and hugged his youngest brother tightly. "Missed you too Micheal."

"You honestly thought I was dead?"

Everyone froze and turned their heads in unison towards the voice. There, standing in the flames of the high school, was Bishop. Covered in ashes and blood that wasn't his own, and a pistol that gleamed dangerously with the orange glow illuminating the night sky.
Behind him were dozens of scientists, wielding guns and many more dangerous weapons.

Leo stood on shaky legs, then stepped in front of his family, he couldn't put on a cocky grin in this moment. No quips came out of his mouth, only a scowl fixated on his face.

"Why are you here." Leo demanded, it wasn't even a question, it was a threat. A demand to leave.

"Why am I here? Because just like every business man, a minor setback won't stop me from achieving my goal." Bishop answered, stalking closer.

Leo didn't move.

"And what's your goal? Killing all yokai and mutant kind to 'protect the Earth'?" Leo sneered, then he finally let that signature smirk grow on his face. "You should leave that to the professionals." Leo reached behind for his katanas, but they were no where to be found. He looked back at his family with a concerned expression. Everyone shook their heads, Leo's katanas must've been lost whenever he got trapped in the...place, with that disgusting, awful creature.

He closed his eyes and tried to shove away the oncoming panic attack. When he opened his eyes, Bishop was right in front of him, staring him down as if he was a prize to be collected.
"And what are you going to do about it? You can clearly see that I have no remorse whatsoever. Unlike the people that need protecting, I don't have time for feelings. They only hold you back. You could join me, we'd rule the world forever, you want to protect the Earth from those nasty Kraang, don't you?" Bishop held his arm out, Leo's eyes widened as he looked at his hand, waiting to be shook.

This evil motherfucker.

"Don't you dare shake his hand." Raph growled out. "Do you know what we had to go through to rescue you?"

"But what about the...the K-Kraang!" Leo exclaimed, stuttering to say the bastard alien's name. "What have they done to us?" The slider turned towards his family.

"They're gone. I killed the last one." Donnie stated, glaring at Leo angrily.
"They aren't a threat, hurry up and make new katanas so you can kill Bishop and get over with it. Before I step in." He added. Leo looked at Mikey, his hands were reached out slightly in front of him, he wanted to help. But he didn't know how.

Lastly, Leo looked at Y/N, their ears low and tucked down onto the side of their head. Their eyes were wide, filled with curiosity and hurt at the same time.
"If you do this..." Y/N started. "You'll lose everything."

"If losing you means I'll protect you, then so be it." Leo replied, then turned back to Bishop, he shakily raised his hand, then-

A scream ripped through the air, it was Bishop as he was being burnt alive. The others stood there, watching charred metal and cloth fall in long strands to the floor as they melted into thick, ink black streaks. Burning flesh replaced the smell of the outdoors, and tasted bitter on the tongue, but finally the screams fell silent.

Leo looked down at Bishop, who was nothing but a torch made of burbling innards that looked like a chemistry substance about to explode.
Leo looked up, and there stood Casey, holding the flamethrower with a wide and fearful look as if he just saw something horrifying. He did, everyone did. They just saw a man burn.

But those eyes, Casey's eyes weren't wide with fear, no, it was satisfaction.

~Casey~
It was a pleasure to burn.

It was a special pleasure to see things eaten, to see things blackened and changed. With the brass nozzle in his fists, with this great python spitting its venomous kerosene upon the world, the blood pounded in his head, and his hands were the hands of some amazing conductor playing all the symphonies of blazing and burning to bring down the tatters and charcoal ruins of history.

All he heard in his head was his Sensei. Master Leonardo, the greatest ninja the world has ever seen, cheering for him. Congratulating him for once again burning the man that is the one fucking cause for Casey's misery.
All he could see was Master Leonardo standing in front of him, patting his shoulder and telling him that he did such a great job. And Casey could only smile. He dropped the nozzle on the ground and smiled more as he looked past his Sensei and saw the burning heap of flesh and bubbling innards on the ground. He looked back and saw the dozens of scientists that suffered the same fate, some even worse.

Was he crazy? Perhaps, but that's what happens when you're born in an apocalypse, everything is backwards. Insane is the regular sane, if you still have a conscience, that'll be ripped out of you within two days of your first solo mission.

You think you see the light? Nope, it's just a Kraang ship firing a missile at you. Found an old can of food? Better hide it before others steal it. It's a kill or be killed world, and no timeline is safe from it.

Until now, until he liberated the world, freed it from this selfish monster. Freed it from this tyrant that tried to take over yokai and mutant kind with an iron fist.

Casey approached the body and knelt down, sticking a gloved finger into the melted flesh and body fluids.

"So long, Father."
