Inspired by AM headlining at Glastonbury 2007

June 22nd 2007, the date fluorescent adolescents were headlining at Glastonbury along side Arctic Monkeys and The Killers.

" hi I'm Ethan Chan , here with the Arctic Monkeys and Fluorescent Adolescents for an MTV interview". The interviewer introduced us while I took a seat on a big red couch in between AM's base player and my bestfriend ,Rebecca Baker.
I have had quite a big crush on Nick O'Malley for quite some time now, and couldn't hold in my blush when I got shoved next to him. He looked at me and smiled and after a few seconds in shock I had the confidence to smile back. I was snapped out of trance when I suddenly hear the interviewer ask me a question.
" ah miss y/l/n it's lovely to see you again. The last time we done an interview I remember having a conversation about your up coming album 'into the night', how is that going so far?" Ethan politely asked me with excitement in his voice.
" it's lovely to see you too Ethan. 'Into the night' has been going great, the album gets realised on December 2nd so make sure you listen to it!" I replied with a big grin on my face
I thought I could hear nick sniggering at my excitement beside me but I shrugged it off.

The rest of the interview went by quite fast. Most of the questions asked were quite simple and we had been asked them many times before, making it easy to answer them.
As me and the rest of the girls were walking back stage to our dressing room, we heard loud footsteps coming our way and someone shouted my name.
" Y/N! Y/N WAIT!"
I turned around and saw nick running towards me
"Hey, what's up?" I said smiling at him
"Sorry darling, just wanted to ask if you were free on Wednesday, but you walked off" he replied smiling sheepishly
"Oh I am sorry! I'm free on Wednesday, what do you have in mind?" I apologised.
"Well I was thinking that we could go out for lunch or dinner, and then have a few drinks around mine and just chill. Is that ok?" He asked
" ofc, that sounds lovely. I'll give you my number and you can message me more details later on." I said while putting my number into his phone
"I'll pick you up at 7. See you later beautiful" he winked at me
"Bye handsome" I giggled while blowing him a kiss
