Y/N POV :
I woke up on day 2 of my period with un bare able cramps. All I wanted to do was cuddle Alex in the comfort of my bed , but when I turned around and reach over I was met with the cover pulled over and cold sheets. I shot up in confusion and as soon as I saw a note on our bed side table, a wave of sadness hit me. I reached over, grabbed the note and opened it.
" Good morning love, if you're reading this it means that I am not home yet. I've popped to the studio for a few hours of practice with the monkeys "
I ripped up the note and stormed down stairs. I turned on the radio and a slight feeling of comfort filled me when I heard a familiar song fill the room.
As 'curtains closed' played in the background I started doing some house work to pass the time

Halfway through cleaning the dishes I heard keys in the door and the door open
"Y/n I'm home doll ! " Alex shouted but I didn't respond
"Y/n ???"
Alex came walking into the kitchen at the sound of plates clanking.
" hey babeh, how was your day???" He came up behind me, wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my head
"It was fine." I huffed back and shrugged his arms off me
"What's up???" He asked, confusion clear on his face
"Nothing I'm fine" I said while attempting to walk out the room
"You ain't leaving this room until you tell me what's up princess" he said standing infront of the door.
I stayed still with my head facing the floor. His hand reached up and pointed my head so that I was facing him.
"What's wrong my little Mardy bum ???"
" I don't know, I have really bad cramps and all I wanted to do was cuddle with you all day but you werent here when I woke up" I said with a frown on my face.
" I'm sorry babeh I didn't know. I promise tomorrow I will be home all day." He picked me up and carried me to the couch.
" Al can you please play me a song" I asked him while he hugged me.
"Ofc I can, just need to get my guitar love"
As he started singing I layed back and relaxed.
"Well, now then, mardy bum
I've seen your frown and it's like looking down

And out come all these words

Feeling tired I closed my arms and felt Alex layed behind me and place a blanket over us. I quickly fell asleep in the comfort of my boyfriends arms...
