I pull into my driveway and the moment I seen both my parents vehicles home I knew something was up. "You going to be okay here alone?" Tessa asks me, looking over at me with a worried expression on her face. I bit the inside of my cheek and nodded. It was something I had to do alone, without her.
"Go home, I'll be fine. It can't be worse then them sitting us all down and having a conversation about falling out of love," I say and she cracks a smile. A genuine one and I smile right back at her. I meant what I said, it couldn't be worse then this. Tessa and I stepped out of the car and I looked over at the strawberry blonde one more time before walking up to the door to my house.
"Mom! Dad! I'm home!" I yell once I entered the fairly large home. A home that will soon be a house of one. If mom wins the custody battle, which, he will. I shake my head at the thought of living with my mom, knowing that we'd have each other killed before I graduate in a year. I see my moms black boots on the floor near the door and my dads steel toed boots next to them.
I kick off my converse and walk into the living room, there sat Kaycee, Liam, Mom, Dad and...wait...is that, Spencer? "What's going on?" I ask, looking at the dirty blonde sitting next to my mother, a nervous look on his face. That was when I pieced it together. "You're the other man. You're the man that's spliting-"
"Kaylie! That's enough, we haven't even spoke the the other's about whats going down, this shouldn't be your story to tell," My mom yells and I roll my eyes at her. What surprised her was that I didn't listen to her...for once.
"No mom, it's enough of your lies. You're the one that tore your marriage parent. You're the one having an affair with my best friends dad. You're the reason I hate you," I spoke, my facial expression never changed once, my icy blue eyes challenging my mother's crystal blue eyes. "There's a reason why we never got along. Maybe this is it, maybe I always knew I just didn't want to believe it. And you, Spencer. I always thought you were a great man. A loyal man, but clearly you're not. Get out of my house, I just...not today."
The shocked looks on everyone's faces surprised me. It was like they never expected quiet me, to say something so harsh and truthful. "Kaylie go to your room now," My mom yelled and I didn't budge from my stance in front of her. "Don't make me count to three."
"What you going to do? Spank me? Honestly mom, when have you cared?" I said, the tears were slowly building up in my mother's eyes. "Maybe you should just go with him...I can't look at you tonight," I ran my eyes over to my siblings only to see that they seemed proud of what I said. My dad just looked...confused.
I looked my mother head to toe and then turned away from her. The woman who shared half of my DNA, wasn't at all the woman who raised me. She was a whore, a unfaithful woman who cheats on a perfectly good man. A man who actually provided for her. I could feel my mothers eyes on my back but I ignored them, they meant nothing in this moment.
I walked towards my room, but before I could shut the door, in slipped Justin. I raised an eyebrow at him when he closed the door. "You got 60 seconds," I said and walked towards my dresser. I open it and grab my white jack daniels muscle tee and turn towards him. "Go."
"Okay, I'm not that same guy you knew what...a year ago? Two years ago? I changed I promise. I treat your sister right and when I met her, I swear I didn't know she was your sister. But even if I did it wouldn't have stopped me," His eyes seemed to search mine as if silently asking me to tell him he's making a mistake. "Now that I know...I won't stop seeing her unless you have something to say."
