"my last solo will go to Tea now Tea you're doing a musical theatre piece No More Crybabies is the name of your routine you watched that whole thing go down with Ava i don't want to see that on this team again"
"i am only bringing a select amount of solos to nationals who's it going to be? this week i'm gonna check out all my little ones whoever the losers are.. are out of the running for nationals that is definitive, the group routine is and Ethnic piece the name of the routine is Tribal Council." Abby says and puts the feather hat on her head
"i love it!" Melissa says
"and Nia you will be the lead in the group routine." Abby says
we all cheer for Nia
"it will incorporate Jazz acrobatics gymnastics modern and contemporary.. Sarah and Tea you will not be in the group routine i want you to concentrate on your solos."
"i do have word on the street that um Ava will be competing against us this weekend with her moms studio" Tami says "mmm interesting and how old exactly is Ava?" Abby asks
"twelve." Tami says
"at this particular competition the age is ten to twelve so my two ten year olds will be dancing against Ava" Abby says
"girls we're gonna spread apart moms you can go upstairs" Abby says
|Group Rehearsals|
we learn the group routine and it's nice i like it and i'm happy for Nia that she gets to be featured
"Nia the heads stage right on that attitude.. what is your face doing nothing! use your face!" Abby yells at Nia
"this is your shot at you being a star and you're not giving me anything how many times have you been in here and sat and watched Maddie she just makes it happen end of the night you have one more day to fix this number and it's a hot mess right now." Abby says
we then get dismissed
|Two Days To Competition| |Group Rehearsals|
we are going from the top of the routine and Abby keeps yelling correction after correction
"perform Nia perform!" Abby yells
"it doesn't look like Maddie! there is not one thing that she has that you don't, do it Maddie." Abby says
Abby then has Maddie perform the group
"if you use your face like Maddie people would be forgiving of a shoulder or a foot or being late or being early i just don't know what to do to fix the problems Nia but i've about had it we're on our way to nationals we only have a few more weeks do i really need her on the team or not?" Abby says
|Competition Day| we arrive at the competition and us girls and Abby go to look at the stage before we head to the dressing room
we come into the dressing room
"alright girls come on come on let's stretch out" Abby says
"and you need red lipstick on"
we get ready for the group routine and i like our costumes
