Ava was screaming her lungs out. She didn't like to be cold and she didn't like the bath. "Move" Layla pushed dougie out the way
He let her move past going to look at Ava, her lips quivering . He picked up her putting her blanket on her
She calmed down, making Layla turn around from looking for the lotion.
Over the last week she started to feel bad when she watched dougie and his mom take care of ava.
She found the lotion and put some in her hands rubbing it to make it warm. "Put her down" Layla told dougie
"She gone cry bro" Layla shrugged "so just put her down she doesn't even have a diaper on" neither of them knew what they were doing
It was obvious. Dougie's mom left to go buy the baby some things she knew she would need.
She knew they would need alone time with Ava and not her doing all the work.
Dougie put the baby down holding her little finger. As soon as Layla put the lotion on she screamed crying even louder
"Damn what y'all doing to her ?" Aaliyah came into Ava's room "girl get the fuck out" layla rolled her eyes at Aaliyah. It was no secret they didn't like each other
"Girl shut up you don't even know what you doing" Aaliyah laughed at her not saying what she really wanted to say
Layla ignores her putting the diaper then onesie on her. She picked up Ava putting the pacifier in her mouth.
She didn't know what it was that was making her feel so guilty every time she looked at Ava or Dougie she just felt so bad.
Layla left out of the room going to sit on the couch with her. Dougie got the bottle off the counter giving it to Layla he knew that Ava was always hungry
Aaliyah watched them with the baby shaking her head because her brother was a fucking mess and so was his baby mama
She felt like the baby wasn't his cause she looks more like Layla and nothing of him at all.
She didn't even feel like this because she didn't like Layla; she just had a feeling.
She went back to her room "im back" she said to her facetime group "let me know if I'm tripping ya" she started sharing her screen
"What ?" Her friend Brooklyn asked "does this baby look like my brother ?"
"Girl no she's cute though" jasmine stated "unt unt not at all" Brooklyn shook her head
"Oh okay that's all" she stopped sharing her screen. Dougie watched ig stories seeing everyone outside
He came across maya story seeing she posted for the first time in a while not that he was looking for her.
He sent her heart eyes she looked different to him then when he last saw her he didn't know if it was her hair or her face
He went to the next story seeing her , naya and a pregnant girl. He went to the next story of her taking shots
He thought about texting her but he didn't. He felt as if she was better off not dealing with him; he was keeping his distance.
At times he did miss her just laying under eating with her and just being around her he felt as if she was his person.
"Oh my god" maya laughed with her friends they were all drunk after the gender reveal she went out with her friends
She didn't have anything else to do and Karla talked her into going out now that they were finally back talking.
"I really missed you hoe" Karla cried hugging maya "I missed you too" maya laughed at her friend crying
Maya was beyond drunk but her head was spinning she felt like she was going to pass out.
"More shots'" Ryan yelled to the bartender "no!" Everyone dramatically yelled. Maya laughed she been laughing all night she was having a good time
Usually she would be ready to go once her phone died. "Im drunk bitch" she whispered in cheyannas ear
"Me too" she pointed at herself whispering "why yall whispering" Ryan whispered
Making them all laugh "I gotta get home my man calling" cheyanna drunkly spoke
"I miss my baby daddy" Ryan whined he was overly drunk. Maya finished her lemon drop smirking while spilling it on herself
"Come on maya hoe we gotta go" Karl stood up gathering her things. Maya picked up her phone and purse
Maya woke up the next morning staring at the wall regretting getting drunk. She felt like she couldn't move
Everything was a blur to her . She slowly sat up feeling her head start spinning she looked for her phone seeing karla on the other side still asleep
She got out of bed stepping on her phone . Maya went to the bathroom using it she did her business then washed her hands
She stood over the toilet feeling like she had to vomit. "Oh shit" she held her head
She went to the kitchen, opening the fridge, and got a Canada dry drink .
"Why you get so drunk now look at you" She heard naya voice she stood over the sink with her head down
"Want some ?" Naya offered her some pancakes . The smell made maya scrunch her face
Before she knew it vomit was coming out into the sink. "You okay?" She put her food down going rub Mayas back
"Yeah im still drunk I drunk so much yesterday" maya groaned turning the water on so she could clean the sink
"I will clean it go lay down" maya took her soda going to get in her bed "good afternoon hoe" karla who was sober yelled
"Please shut the fuck up" maya put her phone on the charger. "Damn bitch" karla side eyed her bestie
Maya laid down feeling her phone ding multiple times . She turned over getting it checking her messages
