"VINNIE YOU'RE SO bad! what happened to your skills?" called out noah beck through vinnie hacker's headset as they played call of duty. "i don't know!" said the boy as he was shot down in the game once again.
the boy threw his controller on his desk with a sigh.
truth be told, vinnie's head has been occupied with a certain dark-skinned girl from canada. "what's wrong?" asked noah, his voice laced with concern. "i don't know. i mean, nothing's wrong, i just... i just can't concentrate."
noah scoffed and laughed a little. "you thinking about scarlett?". a light blush rushed to vinnie's cheeks as soon as noah mentioned the girl. it had only been a month since they started their friendship, and vinnie was already feeling this way about her. he knew it was wrong, that he shouldn't be feeling like this about one of his closest friends aa it could ruin everything. but he couldn't help it. scarlett was kind, funny and breathtakingly beautiful. how could anyone not like her?
"yeah..." vinnie confessed.
"vinnie hacker is a simp!"
