October 20, 2003 Session 17
Kennedie is more talkative today. She says Abbie isn't her only friend anymore. Another girl in her class had invited her for a Halloween party. Kennedie tells me she's happy. I asked her what else makes her happy, but she still insists on writing it down rather than talk to me.
"Lots of stuff makes me happy. You just can't be sad. Abbie says its good for me to make real friends. She says if I keep it up she will go away. I don't want her to go. Granny and this doctor say its a good thing. I guess if Abbie goes away. She can go home. That will make me happy. I'm going to make lots of new friends so Abbie can go home and be happy."
The was a picture labeled Abbie. She had long brown hair, green eyes, and was wearing a blue dress. Abbie was standing outside of a house that was labeled home.
