(San's pov)

The astonishing, dark-haired man did nothing out of the norm, yet when San made eye contact with his sharp gray eyes for the first time a month ago, he couldn't help but fall for him right away. Yeosang just had this aura that drew San in. San attempted to deny it, but he couldn't stop thinking about him. San did not know what he did wrong for Yeosang to leave the way he did, till one night he was letting his mind wonder for too long that he realized it was his intrusive mind that had already pushed the beautiful young man away. Now San's armor was fading, and he felt such remorse for his time lost and only wished to make things right. San hoped he'd return, despite his friend Wooyoung's claim that the man wasn't a local. Slowly, San started to believe Wooyoung that he would never see Yeosang again, so his thick skin was deteriorating and his grief was taking full effect.

One long, tiring night, San was shocked to see Wooyoung enter the café holding hands with a man he assumed was his model boyfriend; they had an almost surreal togetherness. San thought Wooyoung and his lover were much cuter than Wooyoung's past relationships, because Wooyoung is 5'8 and his boyfriend is at least two inches taller. San smiled pleasantly as he emerged from behind the counter to welcome them. San noted that Woo Young's boyfriend had a serious-looking face, but since that was presumably what first attracted his friend, San didn't appear to think much about it. San shakes Park Seonghwa's hand after he introduces himself; San was told that he has only been modeling for two years after meeting Wooyoung.

The pair lingered in the cafe, telling San about how they met, and San couldn't help but smile. As a hopeless romantic, San was enthralled by the story about Wooyoung, a photographer for an upcoming model, running into work straight after hearing about the news. Wooyoung got stuck in traffic though, so he was late, so he ran straight into Seonghwa, who was getting his make-up done for the photoshoot that he was the main photographer for. After falling and spilling his coffee all over himself, Seonghwa gave Wooyoung his jacket to conceal the coffee stain on his white tee shirt. Despite their continual busyness, the two began to form a close bond at that time, which eventually grew into a charming romance. San couldn't help but giggle at the idea of Wooyoung embarrassing himself, but he was happy he had found someone to love.

Seonghwa needed to rest, so the pair had to depart an hour after telling their story. San frowned as they walked out, knowing he'd be alone with his thoughts once more. San wished he could have such a wonderful relationship with someone. San enjoyed his job, but he would never find love as an ordinary night shift worker. He just wanted to love and be loved like any other human in this world.

He intended to leave the cafe and go home when his ex Hongjoong called and asked him to come over to see the design he had started. San wanted to tell him no since he was too exhausted, but San knew he could never say no to the older man when it came to his designs, so he went to Hongjoong's, knowing it would disrupt his daily routine.
