ZOE WALKS INTO THE restaurant, ready to work, but before she gets started, she decides to spread her daily positivity to the man who has given her, her favorite job so far.
She heads to the lockers and proceeds to put her things away and get herself ready by putting on her apron. Once she's finished, she starts looking for Carmy, first place, his office.
Zoe walks inside to see Carmy looking at his whiteboard. "Carm?" He turns his head, "Hi, you got time?" She says it shyly.
"Hey. Always, what's up?" Carm responded looking over to the doorway where Zoe stood.
"Uh, I just wanted to say thank you for this past week. It's been a really amazing opportunity," Zoe says softly while stuttering a bit. "But, I—I want to do more—"
"I know. You want to do more." Carm mumbles.
"Yeah, more to do, yeah," Zoe says, unsure, not wanting to come on too strong. "And I want to get paid?"
"You get paid." Carm nods.
"I mean, yeah, But I get paid to stage. I want to get paid to work here." Zoe says as her voice gets to a higher octave. Zoe has no problem confronting people and letting them know what needs to be known. But it always had her stomach in knots, afraid of what might go down.
