"THATS FIRE, CHEF."
Zoe lets out a small thank you, so small she might have just lipped it. Zoe always loved to make people proud, so knowing that she did a good job on something the man she'll be working with asked for made her heart melt.
"Ay, Guys, look, we've got to line up! We got service in an hour, alright?" Carmy clapped his hands as he walked to the middle of the kitchen. Usually, when he says this, the room will get silent and everyone will start to tune in. But not this time; Richie continued to have his conversation with Ebra and Marcus as the rest of the staff gathered near Carmy.
"Hey! Cousin!" Carmy alerts to get Richie's attention.
"Yeah, one second." Richie holds him off.
"Seriously, I wanna start defining our roles a little more clearly, alright?" Carmy talks over him. Zoe walks and leans on her hands, which are behind her, on one of the stations right next to Carmy, waiting for him to continue on with his speech, while Sydney goes to stand right next to her.
"Hold on a second here; we're just—hold on a second—." Richie waves him off once more.
