At the dinner table, Lu Zhi bit her chopsticks and looked around. "Mom, does the auntie across from us have a son?"

Mo Zhu suddenly thought of something and slapped her head. "I almost forgot if you didn't just mention it. A few days ago, she said that she would introduce you to him. Her son is the same age as you and used to go to the same high school as you. I don't know if you two still know each other."

Lu Zhi: "What's his name?"

Mo Zhu: "It's might be... Ling He."

Ling He?

Lu Zhi searched for this person in her memories and confirmed that she did not know this person when she was still in school.

No, it's more reasonable to say that she couldn't miss out on such a good-looking guy in high school.

But it's not important. What's important was that she had an opportunity to meet him.

She smiled and asked, "Did that auntie say when she would introduce us to each other?"

Mo Zhu glanced at her and remarked, "Oh? Why are you so excited this time? Don't you hate people who are ugly like deformed melons?"

Lu Zhi thought to herself, I already know that he does not look like a deformed melon, and he looks amazing like a god.

She smiled with persuasion, "But aren't you worried about me everyday? I also want to settle down quickly."

Mrs. Mo Zhu's was definitely very efficient to get it done.

In the evening, Lu Zhi took a bath and came out. Mo Zhu was sitting on the sofa and eating the fruit Lu Yang cut. She said, "I asked the Aunt Meng next door to forward your Wechat to her son. Remember to agree when it happens."

Lu Zhi beamed and said, "Okies."

Mo Zhu then instructed, "You must get to know him. I have a good relationship with Aunt Meng. Even if you two don't work out, don't talk about it and let it affect my relationship with Aunt Meng. Do you understand?"

Lu Zhi: "Moooom, I know."

Lu Zhi returned to her room. She sat cross legged on the bed and stared at her Wechat.

She didn't have to wait long before she actually got the friend request.

This man's profile picture  was a milu in the forest. His nickname was ELK, the  english term for milu.

Does he like elk a lot?

Lu Zhi didn't think too much about it, and saw his verification message: Hello, I'm Ling He.

So it's that character for He. It matched him, but it looked like he was out of touch with reality.

The verification message was way too serious, which made Lu Zhi laugh.

She clicked to approve, and then sent a cute kitten emoji.

He replied quickly. It was still one word: Hello.

Lu Zhi sighed. Why is this man so boring?

She replied with a straight face: Oh, hello. My name is Lu Zhi.

Ling He: I know.

Lu Zhi thought for a while and continued: Thank you for what you did in the elevator today.

Ling He: It wasn't much.

It was a little tiring to chat with someone who couldn't continue the conversation. In the past, Lu Zhi's boyfriends and pursuers would talk endlessly after she said one word.

Lu Zhi laid down on the bed holding her cell phone. She used all her brain power to think of a way to talk to him a bit more. She thought, does this person want the girl to ask him out on a date first? He can't really have no game, right?

Fortunately, it didn't take long before Ling He asked: When are you free? We can meet for coffee and get to know each other formally.

He always texted as if he were holding a crucial meeting. Every punctuation mark was carefully typed out, and Lu Zhi let out a laugh again.

She actually didn't come into contact with these types of boys that often. Growing up, she liked bad boys. In terms of boyfriends, each one was more and more roguish. In short, none of them had the image of a good student.

However, Lu Zhi was 25 years old this year. She was the kind of person who had a clear distinciton between dream and reality. She knew exactly what kind of person was suitable for dating versus to marry. She had always felt like she had an ego to some extent.

According to her life plans, 25 was the age she intended to get married at. She felt like she needed to settle down. Men like Ling He were included in her preferences.

They agreed on the time and place, and then said good night to each other.

After putting down the cell phone, Lu Zhi was a little excited. Perhaps it was because of Ling He's looks, or perhaps it was because she thought his serious personality was actually extremely amusing.

But no matter what the reason was, she was sure that she was interested in him right now.
