I was able to hold her hand before she stood, "A-Ano..they're just paparazzi."
"O-Oh..." She sat back on the couch and laughed at herself. "Right. I forgot my son is a public figure."
"Tsch..." I heard Sasuke grunted.
Sasuke's mom placed her hands on each side of shoulders and gave me a really sweet smile, "Of course you can stay here dear. You can spend your night here even for a week or month-"
"Don't exaggerate it." Sasuke furrowed his brows.
She laughed, "Well, I want to get to know Hinata-chan more. I would love her to be daughter-in-law..." She grinned at her son.
"Stop it." Sasuke frowned while I coughed violently.
"Are you alright dear?" She rubbed my back.
"I-I'm fine." I smiled back.
Daughter-in-law?! Never in my wildest dreams!
"So why are these guys following you?-or maybe they thought you guys are dating?" She chuckled.
"Cut it out." Sasuke sounded irritated.
It felt like a very long day. I was interrogated the whole afternoon while we wait for the paprazzi to leave the area but it was near possible. I have told almost everything about me to Sasuke's mom. From the misunderstanding my father and I have, my life now and what happened during the reunion. But I never told her about father beating me.
She listened to me so eagerly. She has no other advice for me but to let go of the boy I fell in love with. She said someday I would find another. Someone who would acknowledge my love. Only if I open my heart to others.
It was really an awkward conversation, not to mention Sasuke is listening too. But I'm glad telling her because she gave me some lessons to realize in return.
Dinner came and still no signs of them leaving. I sighed.
"Dear, you can stay here. Our house will always be open for you." She smiled.
"T-Thank you for letting me stay but I think I should go." I shyly smiled.
"You're not leaving." Sasuke intervened while he crossed his arms.
I stared at Sasuke worriedly, "B-But I'm going to work tomorrow-"
He rubbed the back of his head, "Don't worry about it."
"Sasuke's right!" She held my hand. "So stay with us tonight, Hinata-chan! Please?" She pleaded. "And it isn't safe going out at this time."
"O-Okay." I said softly. How can I resist his mom?
Sasuke's mom let me stay in their guest room. The room was nice and clean-and spacious.
I sat at the edge of the bed when the door opened. He stood at the door while he stared at me for a moment. "If you need something knock on my door." But before I could reply he shut door close and left.
I raised a brow. Huh?!
I let my back fall as it touched the soft mattress. I sighed. I feel tired! Why won't those paparazzi leave? I should be home by now.
My eyes stared into the ceiling while I stretched my arms sideways. I'm really doomed right now. From now on, Sasuke's fans would be after me!
I don't know what to do.
If only I died last night. Only if my cut was deeper.
I went out of the bed and opened the cabinet and saw some shirts hanged.
