It's my first official day out of many as the CEO of Vincero and I'm already tired as shit. I'm wondering how Rainer does this for a living. I sigh, my mind muffles the sounds of their chatter as I continue standing awkwardly in front of them as I work. These girls however are just sitting around, gossiping, is this what Rainer really pays them to do?

My mind is distracted from their conversation but something that Gianna says catches me off guard.

"I'm starting to think I have a crush on Mr. Morelli.." She sighs in awe, her chin resting on the palm of her hand as she stares off into the distance with a gaze that's yelling she's in love. The girls squeal and Zavana does so much as to agree with her, I chuckle behind her and suddenly all of the attention is on me. "Hey Aurelia, you were at the hospital with him last Friday, no? Before I came?" She asks.

I look up from the lit screen in my hand, "Oh, yeah, I was."

"So that means you're close to him?" Her eyes sparkle.

"Well, I am his secretary."

"Could you maybe.. Put in a good word for me?" She tilts her head, turning her frame towards me and looking at me with a huge smile. That same one she had last Friday when she visited him. To be honest, it was evident she wanted something with him, though I didn't think much of it until this moment when she actually admitted it.

I hum, putting my index finger to my chin as if I'm thinking about my response which makes Gianna playfully hit my shoulder. "Hmm.. I'll think about it!" I smile pettily and Zavana looks at me with a scowl.

"Just do it, Aurelia! You're just his secretary anyway." She gives me sass and I only laugh in response. And you're just another one of Rainer's employees that he can ruin the whole career path of with the snap of his finger. They all laugh to each other, leaving me out, and I can't help but feel slightly humiliated with a hint of sadness when I realize what she said.

You're just his secretary anyway. The words echo in my head.

Just his secretary that he can throw around and order like it means nothing. Like I mean nothing. After all, the only thing that binds us is that stupid BDSM contract and me not being able to hand in a resignation letter.

I sigh, "Alright, I'll mention you when I visit him." I force a smile, shutting my tablet off and pressing it against my chest to further listen in on their conversation. Gianna's eyes immediately light up when those words fall from my mouth. "Yay! Thanks, Aurelia! You're the best." She blows me a kiss before adjusting back to her original position to face the other girls.

My jaw clenches and I want to pull her hair so I can hear her screams. Or kick her in the stomach so she whines in pain. Either way, I just want her to experience something that'll make her shut up for life.

"So, what are you planning to do with him?" Angela asks and my gaze shifts over to Gianna who just shrugs. Nothing, I hope. "Maybe I'll send him gifts while he's at the hospital, something to make him feel better." Blair suggests and I pretend to agree.

A great idea comes to my mind. "I say you give him chocolates. He loved the ones you gave him the other day, especially the milk one!" I beam, knowing everything I just told her is a lie. Rainer hates chocolate more than his own life, and I'd love to see the disappointment on her face when he hates her gift.

She smiles, thanking me profusely with an ear to ear grin and I only look back at her with a smirk. Blair doesn't hesitate in throwing her ideas at Gianna, saying she should start by sending boxes of chocolates, then bouquets, and then whole packages full of them. Does this girl think chocolate is his whole life? If anything, that man would be happy being gifted stacks of paperwork.

I smile and nod, agreeing to each and every one of their suggestions, even giving some of my own even though deep down, I'm fuming.

"Maybe I'll confess to him anonymously.." Gianna trails off. "Girl, how?" The other asks, furrowing her eyebrows and I find myself curious too. I'm tempted to inquire but the ding of my phone stops me.

Indeed, my contact name for him is quite inappropriate, though it's nothing but the truth.

My cheeks immediately heat up and I bring a hand up to hide the red tint that's soon to come. I take a glance around the room, seeing that the girls are busy and take this as my chance to leave without seeming awkward. At least I don't have to lie about this.

"I'll find a way." Gianna just never stops talking about her admiration, which is far more than just that, for Rainer but I finally get a moment to speak.

"I'm sorry girls, but I have to go. CEO duties!" I fake a laugh, which they thankfully get the point of. "It was nice talking to you all. And Gianna, best of luck with that crush." I smile, giving her a pat on the shoulder. She returns the smile and I say my goodbyes to the rest of the group and leave.

I quickly shut the door behind me, not wasting any time in typing a response to Rainer. I can help but imagine him waiting eagerly on the other side of the phone.
