"This notice goes out to all citizens of Hyosan. The National Assembly hearing on the bombing of Hyosan has been postponed upon agreement between the parties. The party leaders announced in a joint statement today that they will not hold the hearing until the Hyosan epidemic situation... Hyosan epidemic situation has been completely resolved. The National Security Council announced that they will end martial law on Hyosan today. This comes three months and 17 days since martial law was imposed due to the pandemic. However, as a precaution, Hyosan residents will continue to be quarantined. Although it has been more than four months since the Hyosan outbreak started, the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency has failed to identify the virus. Since it is impossible to know its incubation period, the Agency opposed ending the quarantining of Hyosan residents. Donations are pouring in from across the nation for the Hyosan residents who have been living in quarantine for four month."

At the quarantine zone

"This notice is to remind you of the curfew times. Curfew lasts from midnight to 6 a.m. the next morning. During this time, please remain in your shelters and refrain from moving around... This time will be used to inspect facilities, and to clean and disinfect the camp. These measures are meant to protect you from infection and to ensure that public facilities remain clean for everyone to use."

The gang was standing together laughing at Min-ji's sign about college admissions.

That's when they see Y/N walking around with a bunch a soldiers around her updating her about everything. She signs a few papers. Now that commander Seon-mu shot himself, Y/N was the one in charge of everything.

Vincenzo had to go back to Italy to take care of business there. Y/N didn't let him come back here what if the virus caught him and he accidently spreads it in Italy she couldn't even think about the consequences. She sees her friends looking at her and she smiles at them, turning back to work right away.

"I don't think I can ever get over the fact that she is the leader of a mafia gang" Dae-su says looking at her.

"I know right? I mean with us she's different, with the soldiers she's completely different it's like she's a whole another person" On-jo points out and all of the laugh nodding.

"However, she might be, she is our best friend we wouldn't be here if it weren't for her" Su-hyeok says.

"She's our best friend but she's your girlfriend" Cheong-san says teasing him. "I haven't asked her yet actually" Su-hyeok says scratching his neck.

"What?!" the girls shout making a few people at them. "Ask her already man how long are you gonna wait, didn't she say when we're safe ask me again?"

"She did but-"

"Ah ah no but ask her tonight to make it official bro" Wu-jin says.

"Fine I'll ask her. "

Just then Y/N walks over to them and everyone goes off in other directions leaving them alone.

"Where'd everyone go?"

"Oh, uh they went to get food for lunch, you joining us today?"

"Yeah finally done with all meetings for at least 2 days."

"Woah 2 days? That's a lot" she sighs and nods walking with him towards the others.

"Y/n?" she hums in response asking him to continue "Could you meet me at our tree tonight? Around 7?"

"You do know the curfew is 6 right?" she smirks at him.

"Yeah yeah I know but the sun sets then I just wanna see it with you once" he smiles sheepishly.

"Fine, 7 it is but just this once okay?" she smiles walking to On-jo and talking to the others.

Time skip to around 7:05

"Where is this guy?" Y/N whispers to herself looking at her watch. Just then she hears quick footsteps coming towards her and she smiles saying "You're late"

"I know I'm sorry Dae-su wouldn't let me go" he said laughing.

She chuckles in response, and they turn to the view in front of them not to the burn and destroyed school but the beautiful pink-purple sunset.

A few minutes later Su-hyeok turns to face her and she faces him too with a confused look.

"Y/N I wanted to ask you something"

"Yeah anything Su-hyeok, is something wrong?" she asks worried.

"No no everything is perfect it's not exactly the way I would want it to be you know with everything going on but it's perfect"

"Ok? Then what's going on?" "Y/N whenever I saw you in class after you stood up to Myeong-hwan I swear to god you looked like such a badass-" both of them chuckled.

"But when all this started and you got left back at the cafeteria I was so scared something would happen to you and I would lose you forever, I couldn't even bear the thought of that but when you came back for us on that killer ass bike I knew you were different and that's when I realized that what I was feeling for you was more than friendship, then you made me promise you in the recording room to ask you again when we were safe and away from the school" Y/N couldn't help but break into a smile with teary eyes.

"Will you be my girlfriend? Cuz I can't imagine myself going through all of this alone. I need you to survive."

"Su-hyeok of course I'll be your girlfriend" she smiles, and he immediately pulls close to him, and their lips meet after so long it felt heavenly between this hell. All off their friends hiding behind the tree broke out into cheer. Saying finally this idiot asked. Making the new couple chuckle.

"I love you Su-hyeok."

"I love you too Y/N"
