Orphan in the Alden Clan

Asha is the daughter of the Alpha Arron. Their long and ancient history of being a ruthless clan had always been feared and respected. Asha is an only child as her mother died giving birth to her. Arron had always been the perfect Alpha. Never unreasonable, never harsh without reason. Arron deeply loved his mate even though she had a major flaw seen as a faux pa in the clan; she was a half-breed. She had a human mother and a wolf father. Arron's heart fell to pieces after his mate passed. His world was torn apart, and his inner wolf howled in anger and desperation. The entire clan mourned the loss of their Luna. Asha was not the son Arron had hoped for, but he quickly saw it in her best interest to train her even harder to prepare for her future role as a Luna. She was not shown love or kindness by her father. He only wanted to protect her though. He stayed away from her as much as he could, for she mimicked her mother in all her ways. Her smile and laugh, her long raven hair, and emerald green eyes. Asha trained and learned alongside her cousin Maxine every day. The two were always teasing each other and loving each other like sisters. When they were in the 16th year of their age, the clan adopted a young male wolf named, Markus. His family had been murdered by a rival clan and he had an uncle in her clan. His uncle was the clan's doctor and the most studious and pious man; cold and calculated. His uncle allowed him to train and learn alongside the others in the clan school. Markus was 18 at the time.

Asha and Maxine noticed how even though Markus was tall and handsome, he was shy and was bullied for his terrible position within the new clan. Asha was never bullied. She stood up to the others for trying to beat him or tear him down.

Erik: "You're so pathetic... You have no family and now you're stinking up our clan with your family's disgrace." Erik swats Markus over the back of his head. "You absolutely reak of beta! Do you know how lucky you are to even be in the presence of Alpha Arron?"

Asha: chimed in and cut Erik off with venom in her voice, " You would know all about the beta energy wouldn't you, Erik?"

Erik: slowly turning around to see Asha with a smile on his face baring his canines ever so slightly, "Well hello 'your highness'. And what does my future Luna think of this loser then?"

Asha: spits to the ground in disgust. "Your Luna?" tilting her head and giving him a death stare, "This future Luna would rather take someone like him over your disgusting attitude any day!"

Asha walks past Erik shoving him with her shoulder away from Markus.

Asha: reaching out her hand to him, "C'mon Markus, let's go get some chow." shooting Erik another death glare, "I might lose my appetite if I stay here too much longer."

Maxine giggles and covers her face.

Maxine: walking with Markus and Asha away from the situation on the way to the chow hall, "He gets bolder each day."

Asha: links arms with Maxine, "I know! He's so gross. Such an idiot. Like I'd ever give myself to someone like that!" makes a gag face and the girls both giggle.

Markus' face is beat red and feels like he's been kidnapped.

Markus: clears his throat to speak up, "Ahem... Umm... thanks. I think?" he continues to follow the girls to the chow hall. he clears his short blonde bangs from his face.

Asha: "I don't mean to tell you how to live your life, but I think you should try to stand up for yourself." she puts her other hand on his shoulder and looks at him with kindness and a small smile.

Maxine: "I think Erik doesn't know a beta from an omega anyway. His senses are so dull from his inflated ego." she laughs out loud holding her stomach and throwing her head back.

Markus: "I know. But it's not like I have much of a place here." He looks away from Asha and her piercing gaze. His cheeks still blushing as he tries to hide it. "Im, not any alpha's son, so I'm a nobody-"

Asha: "Stop. Seriously! No more of that. Don't let that asshole get the best of you."

Markus stops in his tracks and looks down to the ground.

Markus: "There's no best part of me." he says on the verge of tears. "I'm not even worthy of your friendship Asha."

Asha slightly jumps up to smack him on the back of his head.

Asha: "Knock it off."

Markus is stunned and looks at her with bewilderment while rubbing his head.

Markus: "Ow! That hurt."

Maxine: "That's the power of an alpha female. Better get used to it." she smirks and links arms with Markus now on the right and Asha on her left. "Let's go EAT! I'm STARVING!"

The three make their way into the cafeteria and sit together after gathering their food. Together they eat and the girls gab on about the brutal training sessions. They all hope for their graduation, they'll get to find their mates and begin a whole new life.
