Namjoon ends his meeting with the client, and when the client leaves the meeting room, he looks at his phone, which was muted for the meeting. He saw eight failed calls from his parent's house; he immediately called back, and the maid of his parents' house answered the call:
"Hello," Namjoon said first.
"Sir, Mrs. Kim has locked herself in her room since the morning. She didn't open the door, and she hadn't eaten anything since morning," said the maid.
Namjoon shouted: "Mom has been locked since morning; you call me now."
" Sorry, sir, I thought she was going to do something important, so I didn't bother her during lunch time, but when I called her for dinner, she didn't respond, so I called you," replied the maid.
"Ok, I'll be right there." He immediately hung up the phone and went to his parents' house.
As soon as he entered the parents' house, he went to the parent's room and saw all the maids and helpers standing in front of the parents' room door.
Namjoon said, "Get out of the way." Then he knocked on the door.
"Mom, open the door. I'm Namjoon. Are you working on anything right now? Mom, tell me". Namjoon addresses the door while aware that there is no reaction coming from inside.
He asks the maid, "Where is the master key to the house?" and she replies, "I will bring it, sir." The maid left to get the master key and returned in two minutes.
Namjoon takes the key, unlocks the door, and notices that the room is completely dark. His mother was sitting in the room's corner, clutching her legs and resting her head on her knees, when he turned on the light. She just raised her head after being shaken by him, and he could see tears streaming down her cheeks. Namjoon's mother cried once again and wrapped her arm around his neck as soon as she saw him. Namjoon simply gave her a hug in return before ordering the helpers and maids to go. Namjoon forced his mother to sit on the bed as maids and helpers exited, he shut the door to the room.
"Why are you crying, mom?" he asks.
"Namjoon...." Mrs. Kim is not able to speak more than this.
"Mom, calm down, take a deep breath, and then tell me." While rubbing his mother's back, Namjoon says:
"Your dad is having an affair, Namjoon. This morning, I saw him cuddling a young girl," his mother said.
Namjoon said to his mother, "Mom, you might have seen someone else; you also know he had a flight this morning; then how can he meet someone in the morning?"
Mrs. Kim says, "You think I can't recognize my own husband?"
"Mom, you're interpreting it incorrectly; I'm not saying that. However, Mrs. Kim interrupted him, saying, "If you don't want to believe me, you can also leave me like your dad did. I thought you would understand me and help me get your father back, but no, you are here telling me that I am wrong."
"Mom, try to understand; I don't think Dad can do this, and about that incident in the morning, it might have been someone else, or Dad must have some reason," Namjoon tells his mother.
Mrs. Kim sobbed, "It has to be like that, Namjoon, or else I can't live without him."
"OK, Mom, I'll ask Dad about it let's call him." As Namjoon was removing his phone from his pocket, his mother grasped his hand and said,
"We can't ask him Namjoon because if he has an affair, he will lie about it, and if not, he will get mad at me for thinking this way. Can you find out anything about him?"
"I can, Mom, but it's so wrong," Namjoon makes an attempt to tell his mother.
"For me, Namjoon, please, it is so important." Mrs. Kim tried to convince him,
"This is so wrong, Mom, but I'm just doing it for you."
