Kia looked up and glared at her, "Shut yo loud ass up, I'm working."
Slim eyed the headset on her head and laughed.
Kia worked from home, answering calls for a doctors office.
"Mom don't nobody even be calling.." Slim said as she sat on the couch across from her mom's set up.
"Mmm.. what you need?" Kia asked eyeing her. "You and them long ass lashes."
"My man like them." Slim teased.
Kia shook her head, "Nobody stunting Tay tired ass."
"Nooo, my real man." Slim scrunched up her face, "and when have you ever heard me claim Tay as my man..?"
Kia let out a laugh, "I got my own man to keep up wit."
"I know you ain talking about my daddy 'tired ass', where he at anyway?" Slim asked.
"He went to get some groceries." Kia told her.
"Ohh so y'all really cool for real this time? Been going strong for a few months, look at y'all!"
Kia mugged her, "Girl mind your business."
"Mmm, y'all the ones that put me and Kiori in it."
"Whatever Slim.. yo mouth so smart."
Slim shrugged, she was tired of her parents.
"Where Kiori?" She asked, ready to get out of her mom's face.
"In her room."
Slim nodded before heading up the stairs to knock on her sister's door.
"Come in!" Kiori's voice sounded.
"Kiki!" She smiled.
Kiori looked up from her phone and smiled, she really loved her big sister; the feeling was mutual.
"Hi Slim, what you up to?"
"Nothing, just got my lashes done and now I'm waiting for my ride to come get me." Slim told her.
"Didn't you drive?"
Slim nodded, "Yea.. but he's taking me on a date."
This caused Kiori to perk up with excitement, "You have a date?"
"Okay nie.. don't act like ion pull." Slim said, mugging her a little.
"No I just mean that youn usually like nobody."
A smile made its way to Slim's face, "Well I like this one."
"Mmm and what he looking like?" Kiori asked.
Slim cheesed even harder as she went to the photo album she'd made with pictures of Cash.
She passed her sister the phone and watched as she swiped through.
"Oh! I know him that's-"
Before Kiori could finish, the doorbell rang.

"Okay girl, we gotta continue this another time." Slim stood up from the bed with her things and headed down the stairs.
"You said you here fa who?" She heard her dad say.
"Ohmygosh.."
"I'm here for Kiamantè." Cash replied.
Finally, she made it to the front door to see her dad grilling Cash with her mom behind him.
"You know this lil nigga?" Her dad asked.
"Yes.."
Kelvin looked back at Cash, "And you her boyfriend or sum?"
