A chill ran down my spine making me shiver, What was that? Did something happened? I shook the thought off and sunk myself on the tub scrubbing my arms gently. It's been awhile since I've done this kind of thing as far as I can remember I took a relaxing bath like this last month.

"Disgusting," I huffed on the air. Anger never left me since that night, her eyes lack it's shine and I'm curious about why would I feel this? Such emotion should have a reason to feel but, maybe there's something that made me feel that way.... I got up from the tub, I clicked the lights off wearing my robe as I walked inside the room. I looked around the room for some reason, this feeling... It feels like I'm being watched, I peeked through the window; I couldn't see anything it's a bit dark and it's also snowing hardly outside damn I forgot to collect wood for the fireplace.
I slipped off the road on my body letting it fall on the floor, I travel my hands on my body sighing in exhaustion, I badly need a massage after such a tiring week.

I slipped on a cropped sweater and plain shorts, my phone vibrated from the nightstand as the house alarm went off; Fuck! I grabbed the gun under my bed and went behind the door, I covered my ears touching the door knob with my hands. The blaring noise of the alarm echoed inside the house as I opened my room, No one was there even in the back patio No sign of someone trying to get in, I walked inside the kitchen and checked the walk in pantry and as expected no one is there too. I was about to turn off the alarm when I noticed that the front door was open, I looked outside pointing the gun on the air as the cold wind brushed my skin making me sigh.

"No one..." I was about to walk inside when I noticed a box at the side of the door. I took it inside frowning, damn it's heavy, I turned off the alarm and locked the door once again; I sat on the couch putting the gun on the table, a sigh left my lips as I ran my fingers through my hair.

"What the fuck are they playing?" I scoffed and grabbed the box, a strong stench of rotting meat was coming from the box. I opened it... My eyes shut close and put the box on the table.

A head....

Human head...

It's not the first time that I've seen like this, it's just that it's not any head... Sam's head. I walked to the room and grabbed my phone, the line rang for awhile as he finally answered.

"Serg. Marcova, what seems to be the problem?" He asked cheerfully, so he's awake at this time?
"I apologize for calling at this time, someone opened my door." I exclaimed, he gasped.
"What?! Are you okay?! Did they went inside-"
"There's no sign that someone went inside.... But, I believe we just lost an officer Colonel." The line went silent as he sighed.
"Report to the building immediately. I'm going to be there on 10." I ended the call and fell on the bed, as I said... Life, will be quiet but never peaceful.

After getting ready, I closed the box again and drove to the department. I parked my bike just in time as Colonel arrived with me.
"Serg. What happened?" He asked. I gave him the box.
"This happened," We walked inside the department as I clapped my hands getting everyone's attention. They salute paying their respect as I nodded at them.
"Report to the conference room. 5 mins" I said. We walked inside the conference room as everyone started arriving, I took the box and opened it throwing it infront of the table, their eyes widen as some of them walked out of the room vomiting their ass off.

"I believe that this is clear for you... We lost an officer but, we don't have time to grieve; we have to find his body and say it to his family immediately. I want everyone to search for his location and search everywhere in this city, we don't have a murderer in loose... This." I looked at Colonel as he gulped the lump in his throat.
