I am lying on my back, looking up to an infinite ocean filling up my field of vision.

A symphony of blues unfolded above, ranging from the palest baby blue to the deepest cobalt, evoking a sense of tranquility and awe. This color simplicity contrasts with the cluttered jumble of our usual surroundings, making me feel calm and safe.

And those clouds. Each cloud carries its own tale—a story whispered through their ever-shifting shapes. They form castles, mountains, and mythical creatures, which invite minds to wander and discover familiar shapes within their ever-changing form. It makes me dizzy to follow their slow but steady motion across the sky.

I tilt my head to the side, peering into his green eyes. Green eyes, like delicate emeralds set in a royal piece of jewelry. The soft grass under my back, the glow of the sun and the trees rustling in the wind make me think I am afloat, hovering up above with the clouds.

A plane passes high over our heads, leaving a white trail on the sky, like a thin brushstroke on a huge blue canvas.

I already don't remember how we got here. Honestly, it isn't that important.

The grass field I lay in is bordered by a river. A single old bridge connected two parts of the quite large park. On the right of me, I can see the old chestnut tree where we I always gather under with my colleagues, doing our homework or just hanging out.

In summer, it's broad canopy would cast a cool shadow, providing all of us respite from the sun's blazing heat. I cannot count how many hours we've spent here, how many of my precious memories were made in this very park.

There is no place I would rather be right now. No person I would like to spend this moment more with. It is like a dream.

Slowly I reach for his hand, unspoken words hover over us in the air like tiny colorful butterflies, leaving trails of glitter behind. Had I ever been this happy?

Time freezes, trapping us both in this miraculous moment.

Then I wake up.

Hello there fellow reader, thank you for considering my piece of writing :) This is one of my first attempts at actually writing a whole story, so I'm quite a beginner in that sense. This part I intentionally crammed in many exotic adjectives and wrote very dramatically to convey this dreamy perspective. I hope you liked it. Hop over to my profile if you like to know me a little better.

I wish y'all a wonderful day.
