Unexpected

Chapter 5

It's the day of Kyla's appointment as she's a bit nervous & yes, Joshua is as well, but he's trying to stay calm a bit as he then looks at his pregnant girlfriend as she feels nervous

"You alright?," Joshua asked Kyla as she nodded her head without saying anything & then asks, "can you support my back as we go in?" "Is your back hurting?" She nods her head as she might feel like having some sort of pain in her back & then gets a response that makes her happy : "I'll massage your back after this baby." "Thank you baby"

Joshua smiles back & then gets out of the car before getting Kyla out as well as they end up going in the clinic as he supports her back & then they sit down & wait before getting called to the exam room

To keep her entertained as she's a bit nervous, Joshua does all he could to make her laugh as it worked so well as Kyla feels a lot better & while laid down & giggling, he then kisses her bump as her shirt is pulled up a bit & blushes a bit before the doctor shows up & smiles as they're having so much fun

Right about now, she puts a little dot of gel in the almost bottom of her belly as she swirls the wand around & hears a heartbeat, but then gets asked if they wanted to know the gender before the expecting couple look at each other deciding if they want to know or be surprised once she gives birth as it mostly seems like they would rather wait it out completely as they're not ready yet & get cleaned up before they leave

"Look at our baby," Kyla coos at Joshua as she looks at the photo with a smile & he looks back. "Dude, it's got your eyes." "I know, but it might have so much of your features." "True, but did you want to know the sex, babe?" "I did, but I didn't know if you wanted to." "I don't control what you do, it's your choice & whatever you make, I'll support it." "What if I told you we might have a boy?" "He might be like his father." "A player?" "Now why you gotta do me like that?"

Kyla giggles as she received a text from Rena as she wanted to check on the pregnant maknae.

R : So, what's the sex?

K : We didn't go through with wanting to know

R : Oh come on, Nayoung is really dying to know

K : She's already gone insane with the amount of baby stuff she bought, how much more can she buy?

"Is that Rena?" "Huh? Oh yeah, she wanted to know if we went with knowing the sex of our baby." "Why? We got the godparents going crazy buying all the stuff for us, I mean we can't make any room for all the stuff we got, plus we still haven't set up the baby's room yet." "So we are really unprepared?"

R : Let Nayoung have this moment, okay?

K : Ugh, fine

"From the looks of things, yep, but I'm sure we've got enough time on our hands, right?," asked Kyla as Joshua starts to drive off & start to get something to eat
