mai sobbed as she held onto hunter's hands.
hunter bit his lip in an attempt to stop the tears.

the girl wrapped her arms around hunter and buried her face into the crook of his neck.
" why south korea? "
" my mom wants to be closer to family. "
mai mumbled into his neck as he rubbed her back.
" i don't want to hurt you, but i don't want break up either. "
mai sat back up and looked him in the eye.
" it'll hurt even more if i can't see you if we're together. "
he nodded sadly
" after all, we're only sixteen. we have so much time left for love. "

mai whispered while wiping her tears.

mai opened her eyes and shuffled in her bed.
she pulled the duvet off of her body.
before she got in the shower she got text from her mom.
pick us up from the airport at 10:30
mai sighed and showered.
after putting on her low waisted jeans and a tank, she threw on her converse and left.

when she arrived at the airport, she grabbed her keys out of the fob and went inside.

she stood by the gate and put in her airpods.
flight from thailand arriving in 5 minutes
mai smiled sadly at the thought of thailand, and the boy who she left there.
they haven't talked in 3 years, he never called or texted her.
the flight arrived and she saw her parents get off the plane.
boarding for thailand in 10 minutes
" hunter! "
mai turned and saw a girl calling someone over.

before she could process it, a tall figure walked through the gate
hunter.
her heart stopped when she saw him.
he turned and her met her gaze.
before she could process anything she was running to him faster than ever.
immediately she felt to strong arms around her waist.
they didn't say anything, just enjoyed each others warmth.
hunter broke the hug and looked at her.
" what are you doing here?! "
hunter smiled and tucked her hair behind her hair.
" im visiting my sister, why are you at the airport? "
" i was picking up my parents. "
hunters sister walked over to them.
" mai? "
" oh my gosh hi! "
she hugged his sister and watched parents walk over to them.
" well look who it is! "
hunter bent down and hugged mai's mom.
after they left he embraced her once again.
" i missed you so much my love. "
hunters voice cracked as he kissed the top of her head.
mai got up on her tippy toes and pecked his lips.
" has anyone else done that since i left? "
hunter smiled and shook his head.
" never. "
" i saved them for you. "
