A person, no, it's me, walking through a forest. Chilly winds blow straight under my ear lobes, everything seems dead. No living soul in the vicinity, except for a few squirrels playing about in the distance. Nothing would seem odd about the atmosphere to anyone normal, but my sixth sense rings a bell.

I walk through the trees and now face an open area, probably a river, but it lies waterless. The pebbles in the riverbed lie naked to the bare sunlight cutting through the canopy of the trees. Ah! Some place to rest. A bit of stretching can suffice for the fatigue, I thought. A strange sweet smell in the air fills in my nostrils.

I walk down to the riverbed, the perfect spot for a campfire. Stretching out my arms, I take a deep breath, filling in as much air as my lungs could contain. The day had not started great. My eyes closed, I try to feel the aura of the place I stand. Something's not right.

I feel my legs go numb. Alarming as the situation is, I try to move. I can still move. But my movements keep getting slower and slower. The numbness now seems to be rushing along my bloodstream to the entire body. The feeling of not being able to move at all all of a sudden has already crossed my mind and has started to haunt me.

I try my best to drag myself away from the place but dizziness implodes in my head. I regret coming to the place now. Frantically trying to reach my backpack for water, I finally feel my knees touch the ground. I lose my pace.

At once, my eyes snap when a voice starts to speak from within the forest. Am I the object of it's words? Yes, I guess so.

Unable to determine whether it is a male or female voice, I barely hear it say - "You up for a fantasy?"

No, this was a rhetorical question. 'Cause as soon as these words were said, the tranquility of the scene is torn apart by the sound of.... Wait. Are those waves?

A second ago the river whose underlying pebbles were clanking under my boots, is now overflowing with water. I find it hard to accept but maybe my days are about to run out in this unknown part of the world. Undecided, unbothered and hopeless, I decide to give up.

No wait! I'm not dead! With all the energy I have, I try to relax my eyelids. They open. A FLASH!
