Bad news, guys. I can't for the life of me figure out what I did wrong. So, unfortunately for me, I get to start over. Ouch. This is going to be frustrating, especially since I'll be redoing over a week's worth of work. This time, I'll do each quest individually and combine them at the end. That way, if this happens again, I won't lose ALL my work, just some of it.
The book Hatchet comes to mind here. Spoiler alert ahead! The protagonist spends quite a long time in the forest trying to survive. When a tornado blows through and destroys everything he's worked so hard to build, he's distraught that he's back to the first day he'd been thrown into the forest from the plane wreck. However, that's not exactly true. He didn't quite start over since he now had all that knowledge he'd picked up.
I don't know. It's been forever since I picked up the book, but this passage is sticking with me. Regardless, production is starting over. 😭
