just then she heard a more soothing, gentle, and calm voice from ahead of her.

"you just gonna stand there or are you gonna help me make coffee?" gracie asked, hands on her hips as she gave a sour look to charlotte, getting impatient waiting for her girlfriend to come up to her and join her.

"don't you mean, 'good morning char, how are you on this lovely morning?'" charlotte smirked, walking to gracie and wrapping her arms around her from behind as her head rested at the back of her shoulder. gracie hummed and craned her neck back to charlotte to let her peck her lips. "good morning."

"good morning," gracie replied as charlotte tore away and went to grab a mug for herself. "i'm headed to the studio in about an hour, you wanna hang back here or should i drop you off at yours?"

"ooo, are you gonna record that song, the red?" charlotte asked.

gracie playfully rolled her eyes, "it's called the blue, and yes i am."

"can i come with so i can finally hear it?" charlotte asked with a hopeful grin.

"no," gracie firmly said. "you're going to wait until it's done, then you can listen."

"y'know i kinda thought being an artists girlfriend would mean getting to hear everything before everyone else," charlotte said, folding her arms.

"hm, guess not," gracie shrugged before laughing. "don't worry, you can listen to whatever you want that i'm making, just not that one."

charlotte smiled and went to the floor to play tug with weenie as gracie made them coffee, "want me to make breakfast?"

gracie grinded her teeth, knowing charlotte would ask that since the sink was empty of any dishes, showing that she probably hasn't eaten yet. with time and charlotte's care, she was getting better with food, especially since she knows how happy it makes charlotte. but she was still working on doing it for herself and not just to keep charlotte at ease. so when she wasn't around, she was back to square one.

"uh sure, yeah," she nodded, seeing charlotte smile and hop up to her feet, walking over to the cabinets to grab whatever looked appealing. but it wasn't like gracie bought much food anyways, so once again, bagels it was.

"hey, mind dropping me off at maddie's on your way instead? i forgot i'm going over to hers to read each others speech's we wrote for tomorrow after the screening," charlotte said.

"yeah sure. is matthew still going with you two on the way to the premiere?"

"uh no, he's gonna show up with sadie and them in their car. the cast is just going in the limo with like their dates or whatever, and i don't want people getting more ideas about matthew after everything y'know," charlotte said. she then looked up to gracie, doe eyed, "you could come with me."

gracie shot her a skeptical look, "your parents are going."

"and so what, they can't yell at me in front of the crew and everyone there," charlotte carelessly said. "and they sure as hell won't have the balls to speak to you i think. and actually if i have you next to me all night maybe they'll stay away from me and it'll actually be a nice premiere."

gracie pondered for a moment before responding with a, "you're really have just been off the rails recently with like very little decision. and i love it."
